I'd also love to see a Mystic Theurge tree that grants both healing and damaging casting ability and support. Prereq could be 2 Arcane Lore + 2 Religious Lore, [...]

This would be cool; but I prefer the developers fix the lag first, mana used but spells doesn't go off; facing the target but DDO said not facing the target, etc.;, and other QoL issues second like the banking issues.

I wouldnt mind if they just released individual "a la carte" quests for like 99 DP each/Free to VIP sometimes.

But without "Into the Mists", your character can't get to the other quests, even with the bottle teleport item.

When it comes to new content packs, so long as they don't employ any new mechanics(such as yet another crafting system or some novel quest mechanic), can pretty much be built entirely without bothering the people who fix the lag.

I understand there is a division of labor here. But there is not just Lag to be fixed.

-There still is not an Epic trainer in Feywild
-There is no rare version of Bravery Throughout filigrees
-There are pixel issues with the 64 bit client like standing at certain angles around Elminster in Evening star or even the odd fracturing of graphics that happens periodically in No Refunds (Sharn quest)
-So many gear issue layering on different models, Bulwark of Snow tower shield going into the ground when blocking for instance

This and so much more that art, systems and even interns could work on instead of new content. Do some of these affect gameplay, no, but the devil is in the details.

The optics of pumping out content when there are plenty of little things to address and while the big issues (Lag/Loading) have not improved, is a terrible problem right now.

If they come out with dozens of little fixes or quality of life improvements, to clean up the game in the interim, they would garner some good will with the player base, at least it would lower my ire a bit.

I always advocated they should use 1 quarter to fix bugs, look at u51, few hundred bugs swept under the carpet, everybody seem to have forgotten them. Then there are the older bugs, some been around for eons.

1 year got 4 quarters, 1 quarter for expansion, 1 quarter for not expansion, 1 quarter for bugs/lag, 1 quarter for whatever else.

Will Standing Stone Games be releasing another Saltmarsh size quest package in the near future?

Are any fun new items coming for players to earn in the next month or two?




I do not raid and I am bored. Dread did not do it for me. Not a Hard Core player.

Yikes. I will never understand folks that have that stance and then complain about content when they're missing out on the majority of the amazing content out there. Raiding is one of the best parts of the game and isle is an amazing pack. I'm sad that it doesn't do it for you. Seriously though look into raiding it's fun and it has some amazing gear that can really help out.
