LF First life druid build built for solo play

Hello all,

I am looking for a druid build that shines at solo content. A friend recently got me hooked on this game during my staycation. But as I get back into work my play time will be during graveyard hours when almost no one is on. Due to this I expect to spend much of my time solo. Obviously I would love to push elites (Have only ever been able to complete R's in a group), but I understand it may not be possible as I don't have any elite abilities unlocked or extra gear from other characters.

As far as content goes. I have pretty much all of it unlocked.

Druid's a great solo class, so you've got several options:

- Pure druid caster. No AOE spells to for the first few levels which can be a bit painful, but beefy by nature with excellent healing as well

- (Mostly) pure bear. Some folks splash /1 FvS (Trance)/1 Fighter or /2 Barb since the capstone isn't wonderful. Solid melee damage with rage, good defenses, interesting special attacks and plenty of self-buffs / healing

- Multiclass bear (aka not really a druid). Typically something like 11 Barb (Rage bonuses + T5) / 6 Cleric or FvS (Silvanus) / 3 Bear, you'll do incredible melee damage, but it requires a +1 heart

- Wolf. Less AOE than bear, but great single-target damage and otherwise similar. Honestly I'm not fully up to speed on what wolf builds look like these days

What're your inclinations toward casting vs. melee? Do you want to be more of an assassin or a beefcake?
