    Default Inherent Abilities over +8

Is there any tomes etc that give Inherent abilities over +8? I am trying to get my main's intelligence up over the 100 mark (I have seen a few who have done this) but for the most part I am stuck around the 80 mark (depending on Race, Abilities, Class and Enhancements I take). So I am looking to eke out any additional points I can and this was one of the ones I was looking at.

Nope. +8 tomes are still the highest.

I'm guessing there will be +9 and +10 tomes eventually, though.

This^, in so many words, is how you say time and feedback on Lamannia are wasted.

So seeing as there no additional tomes above +8 how are people getting over 100 on their stats (not abilities as I erroneously put on the thread title). My current INT at 23 is 73 (23 base, 8 Inherent, 16 from Feats and 26 from Effects).

Look for threads on the DDO Forums that have titles like "Highest Possible INT?" or something similar.

They break it down pretty thoroughly.

The highest INT on one of my toons is a 90 on my Pale Master.

I think I've seen people with 130+ INTs, but that might have been in the days before the "stat squish."

I've managed to get over 100 on a non-completionist human with no racial AP, so it can be done.

The absolute max is around mid-high 120s now (for level 30 anyway, maybe slightly higher with the new level cap).

Some things to look at are:

Obviouslty, max starting INT and all level ups go there. Morninglord, drow and deep gnome have a slight edge here in that they start at 20, not 18.

Enhancements: You can easily get 9 points here, 10 if you are willing to sacrifice some other stuff a bit, and up to 12 if you are drow, morninglord or deep gnome AND have enough racial action points to get the two INT from the cores. You also pick up another 2 points going Pale Master and choosing any form other than zombie.

Gear: You need an INT minor artifact which gives +14 INT, as well as other for insightful and quality, and a profane well rounded item. Make sure your set is giving an artifact bonus to INT. There's also alchemical orbs and shields with can give an alchemical bonus to INT. You also need a sentient weapon, which is where the next MAJOR thing comes in.

Filigrees: I suspect this might be where you lack. Max out the artifact first, then the weapon's gem. You need both +2 INT raid filigrees in the artifact, along with another +1 INT. Then put another copy both +2 INT filigrees in your weapon. Use the regular +1 INT filigrees to help complete these double set filigrees, along with a few other parts of the set to 4 piece. It's a personal choice whether to complete a 4 piece Grave or Zarigan's. Note you COULD get a slightly higher absolute INT by throwing random +1 INT filis in there, but in terms of DCs and overall power 4 piece Eye/Otto/Zarigans/Grave makes more sense. You can get 12 or 13 INT out of filigrees depending on how many sparks are in your sentient gem.

Reaper: You can get a total of 5 INT from the reaper tree. The 1 in the core works even out of reaper mode, so it is worth getting enough points for this even if you don't regularly play reaper.

Augments: Diamond of Festive INT +2, Diamond of Exceptional INT +1 (Or Globe of True Imperial Blood)

Epic Destinies. You can take the Greater INT feat twice if you want. Primal Avatar T2 "Spirit Boon" will grant +2 INT/WIS/CHA.

Other boosts: Long Lasting Elixir of Fox's Shrewdness from Mysterious Remnants vendor. Yugo potions from Yuglith trader. Ship buffs. Reaper hat if you're lucky enough to pull one. (I haven't yet...) Bard buffs. Abishai cookie set - eat one of each colour!

    Good luck with it!
