This gear setup is intended to:
- Max all needed DCs
- Good Spell Pen
- (Near) max fire and light spell crit chance and damage
- Decent high fire and light spell power
- Decent Devotion + lore
- MRR debuff
- Decent HP, Saves, PRR and MRR
This set is wisdom based as I intend to play as an Aasimar. I am well aware that Tiefling can get higher spell crit chance. I will likely try a similar build only with charisma at another time.
I am using a few new pieces from Isle of Dread but possibly more surprisingly also 2 pieces of Cannith crafted gear in addition to Cannith crafting on a GMoF.
Except for the necklace for Elders set almost all of the effects on every item are actually useful
Isle of Dread gear:
- Head: 35% light crit damage, +2 profane DC
- Belt (minor artifact): 35% fire crit damage, +2 sacred DC
- Weapon: Shadowscale (spell cost reduction), Melt Fang (acid dot), Exceptional Wisdom +2, Ash (mrr debuff)
Also, swap in offhand Affirmation and/or Ooze LGS or IoD for buffing Archon.
Elders/Cannith Crafted: (set bonus: 6% crit chance, 15% crit damage)
- Trinket GoMF: Spell Saves, Parrying, Ins Spell Pen
- Neck: Wizardry
- Goggles: Wis, Ins Wis, Spell Pen
- Ring: Con, Ins Con, Sheltering
Flamecleansed: (set bonus: 30 spell power, 6% crit chance, 3 DC, 3 Artifact Wis)
- Medium Armor: Fort, P Shelter, HAmp, False Life
- Bracer: Devotion, Healing Lore, Ins Shelter
- Cloak: Radiance, Radiance Lore, Q Spell Pen
Other:
- Boots: Sunken Slippers: Q Wis, Ins Potency, Q Potency)
- Gloves: Arcane Soldier: Q Wizardry, +2 Q SFM, Q Spell Sight)
- Ring: Clouded Dreams: 5% spell crit, 15% spell power, +3 Ins SFM
- Shield: Alchemical Large: Fire Spell Power + Lore, +2 Alchemical Wis, Improved Fire Augmentation (unsure if the last effect does anything)
Augments: (19 slots on non-weapons, 3 on weapons)
+6 Spell School DC for evoc, necro, conj and one more
+2 Spell School DC for same
+5% ins spell crit
+100 ins wizardry
+2 profane all stats
+1 exc all stats (have +2 wisdom on gear, so might drop this)
Festive Wis and Con
Dex (for reflex saves)
Int (for a little more spell power)

Ok, thats 26 augments for 22 slots, so a bit of prioritizing is needed
