Lightbulb Why do no gods favor Dwarven Axe?

You can have favored weapon bastard sword . there is even a way to have X bow be favored weapon .
! why is there no way to have dwarven axe as a favored weapon?!
did the devs decide against it because they think it would be too powerful?
also i wish there was a way knights training could apply to bastard swords and dwarven axes . it already works for long swords and axes . one weapon is a sword and the other is axe so perhaps it should affect them in some way? thank you .

Still waiting on the Duergar racial variant with favoured heavy picks. Actually would prefer if they were their own distinct race, and had their own separate PL. Likewise for Wood Elf. Perfect opportunity to give us another STR racial PL. I don't think this should be too difficult considering the skeletal structure and animations already exist. Though I would still want them to be different enough and have some unique features.

If we get Evil alignments, along with the above– that would be even better. It would allow me to recreate a PnP character of mine in DDO

Surprised that gnomes/deep gnomes don't have at least light picks favoured.

I'm bickering again . There is imho an insane amount of (good) dwareven axes out there. Be it war axes or otherwise. When I do a guild run, I usually get 2-4 good dwarven axes, every other weapon is often not that good.
I often wonder why this is, because we hve no dwarves in our team.
And even fighters can't use them, I think. Dunno about Barbarians.
"You are a Tiefling. And a Cleric, with the Domain of the Sun. Doesn't that contradict each other ?" "No, all my friends are playing evil. I found that so boring that I decided to be on the good side. And, besides, Sun and Fire, where is the difference, really ?"

DDO hates Dwarves, haven’t you figured that out yet?

Some gods do, but they're peer-shamed so they don't admit it.

TLDR Answer. In D&D Lore amongst the various Eberron and Forgotten Realms sources, no Deities have the Dwarven Waraxe as a Favored Weapon. The one deity that does have Dwarven Waraxe, is Gendwar from the Greyhawk Setting, which is a none-starter.

Personally I wish they'd just redo the patron deity selection to allow characters to follow any god, regardless of where they're starting from. After all, there are tons of Forgotten Realms people in Eberron now, and vice versa. Nothing says you can't have a dwarf or halfling or elf etc, who's "found faith" with the Morninglord, or Helm, or Silvanus. Same with a FR person discovering that their beliefs match up with the Sovereign Host, or with Onatar, or whatnot.

KT exists solely for balance reasons. Its meant to improve certain 1H weapons to make them more attractive to use....specifically, over Khopesh, which used to be the only 1H weapon anyone ever used.

Bswords and Daxes already have a reason to use them - they can Strikethrough. Giving them additional crit bonuses with KT would make them overbalanced...they'd just become the new Khopesh, the mathematically best weapon to use in any situation. But maybe even worse, because THF builds can use them too.

Since they added the ability to change deities, I really think you should be able to change to any deity whose setting you can access...

I'm fine with keeping lore-appropriate choices on character creation, but like you say, once your travels take you to other realms, there's no reason you cant convert to one of their faiths. It'd open up a lot of fun build possibilities, and make ML Iconics a lot more useful too

I still want a Dwarven Variant Race with some upgraded visuals for dwarves, and a Dwarven Iconic, in particular I wanted a Duergar Battlerager. I know there are still classes not covered by Iconics but I want them to put out some Iconics that actually make sense and are actually Iconic to the race/class package presented. There is room in DDO for variant Iconics.

Oh and Where is my returning throwing MUG?!
