    Anyways, most of the kopru that cast mind seeker are orange named. Meaning they can be CC'd. There is 2 however that are the actual boss's: Whisper and Forbidden Temple. Seeing as they don't move much you don't even really need to tank them just let get agro and back away...
    looks like next update they will be chaos damage, and a possible bug was making them be cast on close range characters according to the patch notes.

    just for reference though, i was not using bulwark, although i do use it as a swap along with a mirror shield, I normally use large shields to keep my dodge up.

    I have since tuned into the abilities of the Kopru's and have come up with a good tanking method that avoids them.

    I found when soloing R3 on my Barbarian if you constantly circle the Kopru when fighting, it become a none issue. The orb initially misses you because you not standing where it spawn and since the orb will change direction but never go backward toward the Kopru it never poses a threat in melee for me.

    The first time i went i was tanking R10, so yes, i was stood right next to it. Unfortunately didnt see a thing except my death from what I can remember was 10k of damage lol
    Now I either run around or try to hide behind a tent while holding its agro, fun times

    That may mean ranged can grief melee by standing behind them during these fights, though.

    Or even hires. I was actually using a hire to "tank" in an odd way while solo'ing in COGS the other night. Entire packs would race past me, ignore intim (despite seeing the yellow success icon), and dogpile my hire. They even kept attacking the hire after it was dead. I could just stand and dps them while they tried to make the hire more and more dead.

    I suspect that the low hp and non-legendary level of the hire is playing hob with mob agro "AI".

    BTW, if you're playing ranged, negative threat is screwy. My ranged seems to do more threat with values less than -100 (eg. -150 threat turns my ranged into a tank practically).

    I agree about Ranged threat but it’s been wonky ever since the change from when you could Range a target and not get any other aggro

    I know that didn’t make sense that way either but it’s not an improvement
