After looking at this stuff in more detail I was not surprised to see how well the items work out for casters and assassins, casters especially. I'm fortunate my eyes didn't get stuck from rolling them so much. Imagine having gear where you cannot see the bias of the desinger.

I still like the potential of the crafting a lot, but I'm not even sure I'll be playing the game next week. Thankfully I didn't buy the expansion yet.

Interesting point of view. As a mostly sorc/fvs/bard I have a feeling I will be using 3 maybe 4 of the new items and no sets as they simply dont fit well enough together to go all in. So I see the new items differently.

Hmm, not so sure. Its easy to think the grass always greener on other side?

I think ppl will find different solutions in a month or so that will be good for most! (If you ready to grind out things that is (i am :-))

Three or four items is a pretty decent portion of any gear set. I also don't think the sets are worth equipping as it stands now, even the casters ones, but then again, magewright is a thing and that thing is pretty good. I'm envisioning using zero items from the new stuff, just like Salt. I'll make some weapons though. That'll be fun. I hope I'm wrong about the items/crafting and it can work out.

There were last minute changes in the past. Hopefully some sweet nuggets get thrown to flavor melee.
