Since the pandemic, I've gotten into miniature painting. I started these a while back and only recently finished them. It's Garko and Death Touch! Has anyone else painted miniatures like DDO characters?
I took up sculpting about 4 years ago. One of my first efforts was a DDO Kobold. It went all wrong since I lack for experience, talent, and training. Since then, I try sculpting a kobold about once per year.
At one point I purchased some books on sculpting. They tell me that to sculpt, I first need to draw. After purchasing some drawing books, I quickly learned I have no talent for that, either.
For a while I had it in my head to make a good version of Zuggtmoy. Occasionally I sculpt little terrain pieces, usually after playing DDO for a while, but I never paint them.
Unfortunately, I am one of those poor souls with many ideas but no artistic talent such that I will never be able to show anyone the wonderful things I imagine.

Just use legos added benefit you can make modular dungeons.
If you must paint prime them white then color tint them with black in the creases.
If into the hobby you go only a 40 year old virgin will you find…
nice!
I have seen some folks here use some kind of miniature thing online that makes them using an image but honestly they did not looks so great. Edit: Here is a link to heroforge. Perhaps they are better now than in 2015!

With the right software, a three dimensional printer, and some talent, it is possible to make anything. Learning the software requires significant effort. Talent is talent.
