Still have shadow staff, etc, whatever all BTC on level 1 bank mules. Binding says BOTH bound to character from acquisition, and bound FROM EQUIP for a min level item much MUCH higher then the LEVEL ONE toon it is stored on. Shame. Not that I would ever use this stuff, (except the one time I wanted to) sadface I play ddo for the joy it brings.. Then I play ddo for the memories of the joy it brings. Then I play ddo for dream that it would return to glory. Someday I will dream and play some other place. Maybe I will not remember, maybe I will not remember only sadness. Perhaps I will be too busy with joy in these new places, in these new times...

Just cycling through 30 or more toons, all but my main in the Hall of hero's (imagine how much worse it would be if all were in a different area), standing in same spot at banker, each one opening the bank.

Causes in game huge, huge, HUGE physical lag, can barely turn, every movement is choppy.

And when quitting the game? Takes several minutes before the ddo cursor icon even goes away, let alone a return to desktop.


This memory leak bug, and the overwriting of the userpreferences file (can very easily do just by cycling through the servers to roll daily dice) if you restart DDO and log in again before it completely leaves memory are my two biggest pet peeves with the game. (stuck on load screen is/(was?) right up there)

Yeah, this has always been happening. For my characters, if I do cycle through them to find a certain item;
I usually close down at the end and start a brand new dndclient64.exe client when taking my character(s)
to a raid chain or a R6+ chain.

Unlikely to be the cause of all lag but you are right that it is indeed quite silly. This has been adjusted!

a serious black-hole in the planning, testing, and listening to feedback department... getting progressively worse every update. You shouldn't cut the Test Budget.

If you've ever played DDO in any language other than English, you noticed a LOT more DNTs than usual.
Because untranslated text is often "translated" as "DNT + Original English text".

I pulled a necklace called "Twisted Talisman".
The description says:
10% to chance of negative and poison chance to crit.

It gave me the neg, but takes 10% AWAY from my poison chance to crit.

Went incap on a barbarian. Died from hitpoints falling due to losing rage.

1. Think I lost the rage when I stabilized. Which is the old "bug" of losing all your buffs/imbues/everything when you stand up. Lame! (or maybe the rage just ran out. Maybe... )
1b. But the problem here is the combat log: Which incorrectly reads that I was resurrected by myself? It happened so fast, I don't know if it was stabilization, my fast healing epic past lives, etc) Also, I don't know if i had the die hard from the barbarian enhancement tree or not. But if you die no matter what, it kinda sorta makes the die hard feat useless as a barbarian. I mean, won't most barbarian be raged most of the time? Or is that a stereotype .
