Cannot buy Isle of Dread

Trying to buy Isle of Dread on both my account, but when I click "Buy/Upgrade" on the market, I am faced with this error message. Is this a known issue/any way around it? I cannot even make it to the payment method selection. I have tried with and without a VPN.

Is this before or after you enter payment info? If before, likely a Market issue. If after, what sort of payment are you using (CC/Prepaid/PayPal, etc.)?

Have you tried a different browser? Maybe try from your phone or another device.

Yeah multiple browsers, devices incognito, vpn, tried eveeything

Yes, it is happening to me as well! And it also happened with the Feywild expansion, back then after months waiting for a response from the costumer support they said they couldnt do anything, i cancelled my VIP subscription and stoped playing the for half a year... At the moment i have opened a ticket and it as been 7 days with no reply, i guess thats what you get for being a VIP player, i guess i will stop playing the game once and for all.
Unfortunately costumer support is really really bad, i understand that the team is small and they cant solve everything, but a company that cant fix an issue when a costumer wants to spend money, its a company that wont survive for long.
It seems i will have to spend my money elsewhere

I can only buy with Paypal, if I try using my CC that works everywhere else on the planet they give me some nonsense. Been that way for the last few packs. They really really hate taking my money.

This may sound dumb but do you have paypal listed in the ddo store?, Use the dropdown on your name and select payment accounts. No idea if that may fix the problem but its all I can think of

store and market dont share payment accounts, but yes paypal is linked to the ddo store

It let me put in my cc info and purchase failed it’s the same card I paid for my 3 month VIP going to try one more time then do without it as I won’t use PayPal

There is definitely something wonky going on with the marketplace. First time I tried to buy the expansion, I got the same error message as OP.

Not related to OP's issue, but looks like there are other payment issues. Reposting this here from DDO Discord:

MNDeveloper: Just an FYI (and I have already put a ticket into SSG for this). Trying to purchase Isle of Dread with a pre-paid gift card I received. It is being declined by the bank because the payment time coming in is a "Recurring Payment", which it shouldn't be, for an expansion. You can't do recurring types with pre-paid cards.

Prepaid cards cannot be used in the marketplace. From DDO Discord, MNDeveloper shared this reply from a customer service ticket:

I do apologize for the trouble, however I'm afraid it is not possible to use a prepaid card to purchase the Isle of Dread expansion. Regretfully we don't have a work around, and can only suggest reattempting the purchase with a different payment method if one is available to you.

Just a quick update. Still cant buy isle of dread, SSG support decided they cant help me and i should contact "Aydan" on a link they provided. Raised a ticket with Ayden twice, just for them to immediately close the ticket as I am not a direct customer of them, regardless of the fact its not a payment issue as I cant even get to the payment method selection. I have tried on my f2p account and I am able to get through to purchase confirmation on that, so it is an issue with the 2 accounts I play.

I got that message as well the first time... I had a old payment form listed. If you are logged in on the store, at the very top and center its tiny but it says payment sources. Once I changed it to the current payment source it allowed me to purchase, maybe that might work for you?

Sounds like you need to update your current ticket with SSG or make a new one with this new info. I had a similar problem a long time ago where we went back and forth with the finger pointing from SSG to Xsolla then back to SSG.
