(Edit - thread title would be better "Hirelings should RTJ" - meh.)

Too often I've seen players pop a hire without asking the party leader, often as #6 in a group, sometimes taking a spot being held for others.

Then, occasionally the owning player doesn't respond when asked to Dismiss that hire - for whatever reason (I like to think it's a language barrier, but that can't be every time. )

A hire should have to be "allowed" into the group, same as any other party member. Maybe a box that the leader can check ("Allow hires?") - something.

The party leader knows what they want, and if they do/not care - if it's good for players, it should be even more so for hires.
