In this video I Breakdown the Pricing of all 3 'Isle of Dread' Expansion Pre-Purchase Bundles, to determine their value.

plz keep in mind that value is subjective, and that I can only do my best to determine how much each thing would cost.


DDO - Isle of Dread - Price Evaluation





Here is how I determined the Pricing for the Breakdown:


Isle of Dread Expansion will most likely get to the in-game store for 2495 DDP just like Sharn and Faywild. this will probably get to the in-game store a half a year after released.


Tabaxi Race and Tabaxi trailblazer Iconic will most likely be priced in the in-game store for something between 1395 DDP (like Aasimar) and 1595 DDP (like Shifter). I just made an average and went with 1500 DDP for each.


A Character Slot can be bought in the in-game store for 625 DDP.


A Heroic Otto's Irresistible Box can be bought in the in-game store for 4995 DDP. keep in mind that this is not always available for purchase in the DDO Store.


An Improved Epic Otto's Irresistible Box can be bought in the in-game store for 6995 DDP. keep in mind that this is not always available for purchase in the DDO Store.


The Tome of Destiny +1 (Isle of Dread) will most likely get to the in-game store for 3495 DDP just like The Tome of Destiny +1 (Faywild).


Creature companions can be bought in the in-game store from 195 DDP for the common ones and up to 595 DDP for the rare ones. I priced the Triceratops for 595 DDP like the rarest ones and the Raptor for 495 DDP like the slightly less rare ones.


Mounts can be bought in the in-game store from 1995 DDP for the standard ones and up to 2495 DDP for the rare ones. I priced the Swift Raptor Mount for 2495 DDP like the rarest ones and the Clawfoot Mount for 1995 DDP like the standard ones.


Cosmetics range from 250 DDP for the oldest ones, all the up to 995 DDP for the rarest ones. I priced the 3 piece Dread Dinosaur Hunter's Cosmetic Set for a total of 1300 DDP like 3 average cosmetics, and the 3 piece Dread Pirate's Cosmetic Set for 1400 DDP like 3 slightly rarer Cosmetics.


A level 7 gold seal Hireling can be bought in the in-game store for around 20 DDP. A level 32 gold seal Hireling does not exists in the store, and the best you can get is a level 27 cleric for 40 DDP or a level 26 Fighter for 30 DDP. The Hirelings can be used endlessly but they are not OP. for the sake of evaluating them I'm just going to treat them like cosmetics, since for many that will be more of the appeal. The level 32 is set for 500 DDP since it is not very good for endgame content, and the level 7 is set for 575 DDP since it is actually ok if you use it at level on Elite.


The teleporter can be used anywhere but only takes you to one location. I priced it at 1000 DDP, that is half the price of a standard mount.
