For me at least, the latest dndclient.exe is producing an alert by Norton
"Data Protector blocked a suspicious action by dndclient.exe"
It is apparently trying to open C:\Windows\INF\HidTelephonyDriver.PNF however DDO starts and runs perfectly normally.
Anyone else see this?

It looks like a speaker or headphone driver? Probably because DDO is trying to play sound.
