Default Please give the ability to switch off visuals from permanent fire shield

I am running a Tabaxi Trailblazer with Permanent Fire Shield from the Wreath of Flame filigree set bonus. The flames are overwhelming, especially from the shoulders up. The head is completely obscured by the flame so I don't get to enjoy the nice Tabaxi artwork. What is worse is that if I zoom in, the flames take up a larger portion of the screen and if I happen to be backed up against something like a wall - I can see almost nothing but flames on the entire screen.

I had similar visual/ screen coverage challenges last life with the cold flames when using a Crown of Snow on a Shifter build.

I put some effort into cosmetics, getting armor, hat, and hand items that look good to me and fit the build. The permanent flames are a distraction and often do not "fit" the build. For example while a fire cleric may look good in fire shield hot flames, permanent cold flames just look bad/wrong on an acid caster with a green theme.

I know some people love the permanent flames so don't want to ask for them to be removed. However, I would really like a way to turn them off so I can actually see my builds.

    +1

Maybe add an "Aura cosmetic slot" similar to how we got cloaks.

Looked for the answer to this question myself (recently) and found this thread. Eventually found the answer. You've probably found it already too, but for the benefit of those searching for this answer that land here, try:

Options >> Gameplay >> Disable Full Character Overlay Effects. This disables Flames of Amaunator when I have it toggled on.
