DDO only launches correctly when 2nd monitor plugged in?>

After putting in my user and password and selecting server, the game only proceeds to character select (new window) if my 2nd monitor is plugged in. Otherwise, the 2nd window never opens and does not appear in task manager. When my 2nd monitor is plugged in, the game launches fine but the new window after selecting server will only ever show up on 2nd monitor. Never had this issue with any other games
Long story short, I don't have my 2nd monitor anymore and I can't get the game to launch at all. Fresh re-install didn't help. Please advise!!

Have you tried deleting the userpreferences.ini file? Or, in the launcher options, tick the box for reset display settings, then click OK at the bottom?
