    Default Need build advice

I’m in the process of rolling a half orc barb right now (lvl 10 first life) I’m pretty ungeared but none the less it feels kind of squishy. I’m a try thing player after like 4 or 5 years so I’m playing catch up with a lot. Any good half orc 2hf builds out there? Planning on going pure barb

More specifically I feel like the feats are still gonna be the same as before, pa 2hf line imp crit, cleave and gc and overwhelming crit. But I’m lost on the AP because there is so many good options. Also was wondering if it’s worth splashing fighter in for the haste boost and extra feats but that’s another topic I suppose

Also I should note that I have every intention on taking it to end game for awhile, gear for end game and future epic, and racial past lives as well as heroic. Also my reaper points will fallow over right?

Fat agile barbarian may be your build. Max out your rage number and duration.

With Strikethrough you don't really need the Cleave feats anymore which saves two feats. You can always take Supreme Cleave if you miss having an extra button to press.

If you have Vistani Knife Fighter then you can get Haste Boost that way, as well as +5% doublestrike, Deflect Arrows, and a couple other perks for 11 APs.

For max DPS on a HO pure barb, your AP split will probably be something like:
    • 41 Frenzied Berserker for capstone and tier-5s (Focused Wrath, Focus Wide, etc.)
    • 18 racial for Brutality and 2H damage bonuses
    • 11 VKF for Haste Boost and +5% doublestrike

So that's 70 APs to start leaving at least 10 more. When in doubt, spend 8 APs in Ravager for Melee Power Boost as well. Use falchions or Sword of Shadow to really exploit the +2 crit multiplier bonus from Focused Wrath.

The drawback is Berserker has the least self-healing of the three trees. [At only 8 APs, Blood Tribute should be considered a de facto requirement on any barb IMO.] You may find using Ravager (Blood Strength) or Occult Slayer (One Spirit) as your primary tree is more survivable. Don't be afraid to experiment until you find the right balance between damage boosts and not dying; the DPS of every soulstone is zero.

So if I drop cleaves what would you recommend replacing them with?? And is strike through something there’s an abundance of before a fully geared epic level toon or should I hang on to the cleaves and respect at 30? I’m mostly aiming for max dps but need to retain some solo survivabilities since the servers are dead now lol

Also, I haven’t splashed fighter in yet so I was curious as to if it would be worth it.

Strikethrough comes almost entirely from feats, Enhancements, and ED abilities rather than gear; so there's no reason to plan an endgame respec around having Cleaves for leveling.
    Base: 20%
    Two Handed Fighting: +60% chance
Improved Two Handed Fighting: +30% chance
Greater Two Handed Fighting: +30% chance
Perfect Two Handed Fighting: +30% chance
    Angry Arms: +5/10/20% chance
    Mad Munitions: +5/10/20% chance
    Great Weapon Aptitude: +5/10/20% chance
    Wild Weapons: +5/10/15% chance
    Wade Through: +10/15/25% chance
Unbridled Fury: When activated, +100% chance

So you'll have up to 200% Strikethrough (meaning 3 enemies hit with every swing) by level 12 from feats and Enhancements, +70% at level 26, and Unbridled Fury at endgame.

The (almost) F2P approach to this build:
    Code:
    HO Berserker
    Barbarian 20
    Half-Orc

The +1 AP tome is nice but not necessary; just drop Demoralizing Success if you don't have it. If you don't have Vistani Knife Fighter, you can put those APs into either of the other barbarian trees. TBH I'm still (re)learning the new ED system so this is just a rough idea of what to take.

Awesome thank you! I’ll drop the cleaves and pick up those feats sooner and see how it goes. Much appreciated!
