How about an item that would allow people to convert an old unwanted alt into a one time use BTA stone that would apply the Past lives, reaper points, and tomes to another character on ones account. For those that want to just keep the name it would keep the character, basically turning it back to a level 1 with nothing on it.
Of course the tomes would not stack, however it would take the highest between the two and apply that to the character using the stone.
Also, it would only allow the "crunching" of a level 30 character or some similar restriction to block just making a lot of 1st life characters at lesser xp required to convert.

Would be nice, I regret having spent years of resources on an account filled with alts that in today's game have no use beyond pack mule storage.

Alts are quite solid these days and ED changes have made it way easier for me get mine setup (no longer having grind out off-destinies YAY). Just have to grind out gear and one can be pretty set for low/mid-skulls quests and LN/LH raids (maybe higher difficulties depending on the person behind the keyboard). Account based RP/DP would be great as well.
I wouldn't get rid of all my alts if it were possible, but some from hardcore just sitting there, or an old build idea that is no longer applicable, there are a lot of reasons I am sure everyone has to crunch a few.
Would be nice to be able to take all that time and effort and actually make some use of it.
