Righto, so I'm liking the effect of Ranged Epic Strike 'Pluck of the String' in the Bard ED, but I'm noticing that it has trouble soft-targeting enemies, even if they're right in front of me.
Is it WAI that you can hard-target only? Cuz that would be kinda silly [read: dumb].
Also I feel like the animation glitches or lags out, delaying the rest of my Xbow attacks and kinda cutting into DPS. It feels almost as clunky as the RXBow Speedboost Reloading animation before the update, and though the cooldown is faster at *5 seconds, the internal delay makes chaining the attacks kinda annoying.
Playing as ranged, the OBV go to is Hunt's End, and I'm down for that, but the stun effect of PotS is fun to use when you CAN use it. A nitpick of mine is the fact that you ONLY accumulate a charge if you crit. In my opinion, a Crit should cause the Stun effect, but ANY attack made with PotS should grant an internal counter of {1} so you can use the next ability up that requires {3} charges regardless of how often you crit. Trying to get 3 crits inside the 30 second timer with the animation delay is quite annoying.
Either the animation needs to be smoothed out or dropped, in favor of say, a regular shot animation OR PotS needs to grant a charge every use that hits, and the cooldown goes UP to 8 sec. Matching Hunt's End. A third choice could be upping the timer to like 45 sec.
