    Question "Temporary" account lockout length for Hardcore character transfer

    I'm wondering if anyone else if having this experience while trying to transfer a character off the Hardcore server:

    I requested a transfer exactly like I did for HC league 4, and it pops up the final confirmation window Y/N, I proceed, and it changes the client window to notify me that the account will be temporarily unavailable during transfer and I will be notified by email when it is complete.

    I did this last night and nearly 12 hours later, I don't know if I should try logging in as I've received no email.

    For HC4, it took approximately 1 minute. Yes, 1 minute. I then received the email and all was fine.

    I'm getting emails from SSG fine as I received a notification from the DDO Store yesterday prior to the transfer, and I received an acknowledgment of the ticket I filed with their help system early this morning.

    Anyone else not getting the completion email? What did you do / how long did you wait?

    The ones I've done so far just took a couple minutes. I didn't wait for emails. Just logged out, made a kitchen run, then logged in to the landing server and was done already.

    Thanks for the feedback guys!

    I went ahead and tried logging in, and it seemed fine. My only concern is that maybe the process is still in a pseudo-state or not properly signed-off now. I'd hate to move items over to the transferred character and have it "reset" to the default transferred state at some point if it ever "completes" normally, losing items.

    Hobgoblin: Any details you can give on that bug? I did a wide forum and internet search and can't find any instances of this, so any info is appreciated. Does it eventually notify the player's email account?

    cdbd3rd: Did you ever NOT get an email?

    If I get any sort of help ticket response with news people ought to know about when this happens, I'll add to this chain. If you don't see anything, likely SSG never responded or it's just a bug that fails in a "stable" state and the character is left alone going forward by the system.
