This is an idea for a recipe.

Ingredients: 500 threads of fate, and enough items from a set to complete the set

Result of crafting: A consumable item modification that adds the set bonus to an item along with an additional hidden set. Warning: this removes any current set that said pice belongs to if it belongs to any set.

Hidden set: If two or more pieces of this are equipped, the wearer is instantly slain after 15 seconds, no save.

when we got the set augments from fey wild i thought it was going to be as follows . you crunch the 3 set items you get an set augment . put this augment into an item , it counts as part of the set .

Would have been nice, they could have even made it so that if you wore more than one you'd lose some amount of hitpoints over time.
