Here are the snapshots of U53 Preview 2 Raid Loot of Hunter and Hunted.

U53 Preview 1 snapshots are located here.

Cosmetics will appear at the end with their respective items, along with the steed in case people missed it first time round (and because it's so pretty! )

    Thanks for posting these.

I like that the augments are all Emeralds, now. Makes them easier to slot.

I am once again asking if that HAxe could be converted over to a Light Pick instead?

We just got a raid Hand Axe with the Dryad, so we should be able to spread the love around in the light weapon department. I'm sure swashes out there would love to see a viable light pick.

Soul Tear, Mind Tear and Fetter needs to be applied on spells cast as well as physical attacks.

The corresponding LGS effects works on both spells and physical attacks and so should these effects to let casters use these weapons.

BOTH of these posts make sense.

For the weapons with the spell power bonuses, like the DWA, are those spell power bonuses good for melee in any way? For example, does the force spell power on the DWA increase the Force Burst damage? Trying to understand the design goals and feel I am missing something...

    They're useful for Eldritch Knights.

The inferno demand’s weapon: this is a caster weapon. Keen is not useful for casters! These weapons are not useful for EK and other gish characters, they are pure caster weapons and as such keen is out of place on them. I fervently hope it's a mistake and don't leave that there.

The truth, as I see the loot of this pack... I just want the horse. I can't use a single piece of loot. I don't know if I will buy the pack.

I feel that swf/SdK EKs are the only builds that these weapons would be useful for. If I’m wrong please let me know. I was confused with the necro weapon at first as you cannot imbue negative SP- so why the melee stats, but guessing it’s for swf EK who wants better DA or NEB?

Just way different loot than I was expecting for almost a year when wild hunt raid was first discussed. I was expecting spears, bows, xbows, not EK farming implements (sorry that made me laugh). I am sad to see a new set bonus, was hoping at least some of these items would have Season sets on them.

Edit: agree with removal of keen as it will not benefit casters nor melees really. Would rather see sov vorpal or a caster ability.

Trying hard to understand the design goals of raid weapons optimal for EK's and other hybrids that have a need for both melee and spell power bonuses. Is it to satisfy the small population of EK's? Or to encourage people to run EK's? Based on DDO Audit data, I'd (very roughly) ballpark estimate 1-2% of players are EK? Why have so many items devoted to them? I get the need to make items for them, but why not as quest drops rather than raid drops? And why not make an item where that last slot is craftable to a few different options?

There are already 13 level 32 raids, even if you ignore TS, Shroud, and Storm, which have sub-29 loot, that's 10 raids worth of gear at cap. If they're honest in their commitment to not inflate stats at 30 again, then the only way they can add useful itemization is to fill in the niches that aren't currently served.

I don't mind a new set bonus here or there, especially for raid loot, but I am both disappointed and unsurprised that they did not at least use the Feywild Season bonuses on the quest loot and minor artifacts. If anything saddens me... it is that we didn't get more Feytwisted items, which were arguably the niftiest Fey items.

The set is not bad at all, but likely this was last chance for additional Season items. Maybe there will be Feytwisted versions of these items with Season set bonuses on them. Here’s to hoping…

I appreciate and understand the perspective, though I'd suggest caution in stating 'the only way' is X, where many things are possible and good.

The meta design goal is to create content players enjoy and will run repeatedly. Loot plays a role, particularly at cap. The meta design is also best for the bottom line and continued operation of our beloved game. People motivated to really want to run something means lots of LFMs and good times.

I do perceive a checklist design strategy...'we need an item to fit the niche of a high listen skill focused, Divination caster who wields a greatclub'.... a pretty cool flavor build I'd admit

Universal appeal of raid loot I think better serves the meta goals.

I'd love to see drops where the last slot was customizable based on desired play, while keeping within the current stat boundaries. Trade in runes to add something for a EK, something for a melee, something for a tank, a listen boost greatclub, etc. Using raid runes would be good because, Tempus only knows, we have some storage issues and need more crafting ingredients like another arrow from a goblin.

I couldn't find a definitive answer anywhere in the notes, though I may have missed it.

Is this two quest/one raid going to be for purchase only or F2P?
It seems flimsy as a "purchase" pack with only adventures, however it does have a raid...

Inferno's demand seems like a EK/ Fire Sorc or druidic weapon. Leave the keen makes it a multi-tool for either build, supplementing Fire spell power and providing a niche melee weapon when you feel like building up stacks of "Force's Point: Magical". It avoids claiming the BiS for casters, provides mixed martial/caster build types with a useful tool, and always easy skinning of the prey when the hunt is over.

Just my own question (f2P or sub-par purchase pack) and spare change- Caster stick with a blade.

Maybe I'm not understanding what you mean to say. Is there a meta build that doesn't have appropriate gear options in current end-game content that you think should be better served before they move on to niche gear?

Feels really underwhelming to me. Maybe the next expansion will be 4 quests and a raid, just $129.00.

Game is heading to "Maintenance Mode" at bullet train speed.

I don't know about maintenance mode- they plan to upgrade the forums; that seems like a detail they wouldn't bother with if they were discussing sunsetting the game. Or blind optimism on my part.
Another option would be that the new quests are linked to ownership/access to the Feywilds.

Otherwise it will just be ignored until I have enough DDO points accrued.

Yeah... maintenance mode, despite releasing major expansion after major expansion. That's exactly what I would call it /s
