Maybe it's the stat squish, but none of this gear seems raid worthy. I wonder if the Devs understand that raiding for the general game population is a pretty significant time commitment. Unless you are part of an elite raiding guild/community, it normally takes significant time, just to fill a proper raid group, as compared to a general quest. I have seen no raid loot worth even pursuing in this list for said investment in time.

People keep saying that inferno's are weapons for EK, but how many EK have you seen that use kamas as weapons? (an exotic weapon, for which they have no proficiency, and that is not good without a specific support behind it) And in top of this that they specialize in fire, the energy with the most immunities when they don't have bypass immunity?

Noooo they are useless weapons for 99% of EKs. There will be some that meet these requirements, but of course you can't speak generically as useful weapons for EKs.

And Artos_Fabril, we haven't gotten to the point of having the cap full of items where devs can only add weapons for obscure niche builds. No, most of my toons, with very straightforward builds, have problems with slotting stats. So no, there are many design field pending. In fact, if the devs have a challenge ahead of them, it is to make it not so difficult to change one item for another.

You can imagine some not-completely-flavor builds that might be able to leverage them...e.g. an 18 FvS/2 Monk TWF CHA build with Fey, laying down CBombs and FStorms for AOE.

But yes, the choice to make them Kamas instead of something more accessible like Sickles is odd considering only Monks are naturally aligned with them, and wouldnt benefit from their design

Unless maybe the new Iconic Sorc we've been hearing buzz about has a racial kama prof

    Default Meh

There's maybe two useful items there. Elemental-themed weapons, not even of the type those classes normally use. That's pretty bad.

If a niche, had a niche, stuffed into a smaller niche...

    Oh, I don't know.

A Pale Master Eldritch Knight Monk Ninja Spy using those two kamas might have some possibilities.

    18 Wiz/2 Monk split maybe?

This^, in so many words, is how you say time and feedback on Lamannia are wasted.

    Interesting view.

I find raiding in DDO extremely casual. Grinding for heroic completionist, (quad) epic completionist or racial completionist is a very significant time commitment - but raids are pretty fast and have a very low entry level given they can be run on Normal.

I am in a tiny guild but organise PUG raids once a week and we usually run 6-8 raids in ~2 hours. I have more runes for most existing raids than I know what to do with. Most of the time I run raids I need nothing from but I am having fun doing so

Compared to some other games where getting to max level is trivial but raiding takes a major guild, great focus and loads of time.

Raids are pretty fast, but getting enough runes for an item does take time. Of course it doesn't take the same time it takes to amass past lives for the various completionists, but that's a ridiculous comparison. Acquiring one item from a raid simply takes too long especially considering if any given player has paid money for the raid content.
