Alternatively, give us a way to strip an item of artifact status or allow an artifact to not count as an artifact until filigrees are slotted into it, or give us a version 2 of Jewel of Many Facets, or create set augment recipes for item sets that either consume an artifact slot or consume offhand or mainhand slot as a requirement for completing the set.
