Does anyone know if Mantle of Nature - Thorn is working correctly with force spells? The description in the tree says it should work, but the buff icon says it only works with acid and poison spells.

I am playing an Archmage, using all the force SLAs and I don't notice it going off. Also, should it work with Arcane Bolt and Arcane Blast?

Good question. I have not actually tried the Primal Mantle, though I do like the Primal spells.

As a general rule, if you cast lots of multi-hit spells (magic missle, chain missles, meteor swarm, frost lance, etc), you are better off with the Shiradi Mantle. If you cast fewer heavy hitting spells that do not multi-hit, then you are better of with the Draconic mantle (will hit harder, less frequently). And if you have a healing focus, Exalted is a nice mantle. I do not believe that any of the other mantles are worth considering for a caster.
