Or we end up with Nebula Fragment situations

I am sorry but you are wrong. If someone is going to play 14 hrs a day ( some do ) you absolutely MUST design around that. You definitely need something for them to do. You also have to design around someone that only plays once a week for example as well.

A simple design of allowing those players an "endless Carrot" to chase would make a great deal of sense!

Also, by making cosmetics for 100, 125, 150, 175, 200 etc etc, will make sure a large majority of the player base can see / show there accomplishments with a cosmetic.
Yeah while I don't disagree when it's tied to power and items its more of a problem than cosmetics

Those with 14hrs a day aren't the only ones supporting the game

Not wrong at all problem lies when it's designed more towards those 14hrs players that you lose more of the less time players

You identified the problem that is for sure

I don't think Reaper needs a catch up but it doesn't need more rewards either othside of cosmetics

What it needs if the xp in heroics and epics fixed

Dedicate 14 hours a day. More like waste your life away. I’m happy that people enjoy playing any hours a day but to use the dedicate is as bad as entitlement. However DDO does need some form of catch up mechanic. Reaper excluded is fine. What is needed is some past life help. New or returning player gets 3 heroic and 3 racial past lives for 1 TR for 6 months or only 3 TRs That would help a tremendous amount. To get the minimum that a magic user, healer, ranged or fighter actually needs. A big bump in heroic RXP is also required. A new VIP boost the 3+3 PL for 1 if you buy VIP would be great seeing as Expansions are the new norm.
Just awestruck, whether it be a Dragon flying overhead Stormreach, that glowing character who just zoomed in'n'out of the Pub or that I can drink a Beholder under the table and best of all rescuing Damsels in distress.

    Character. Alivef was 1 x heroic completionist now I need Alchemist (+I have few more heroic pl's) 1 x epic completionist, 1 iconic Shadar Kai x 3. Gnome+Drow x3 racial pl's.

I've already won DDO. I have my bloody footprints. I'm closing in on my reaper wings. I don't run low-level reaper that feels like casual. A catch-up mechanic isn't going to benefit me because I already have just about everything I want in the game. But a catch-up mechanic will greatly benefit new players. U51 was a good step since it made the transition into epics seamless and reduction to mob HPs made combat more fluid. There still remains a massive power gap between players. Virtually every MMO I've ever played has a catch-up process for integrating new players into the game. It is unreasonable to expect a new player to start 10 years' worth of power behind others. Players are not going to stick around in a game if they feel like they aren't contributing. Having more people who contribute is a good thing. I'm not afraid of sharing power. I don't understand why some are.

Congratulations. On getting your points and contributing to quests as a newer player working for your gains. And also being the voice to reason to "catch-up mechanic" drivel that is spouted here.

And thank you for shredding the paper thin argument for "catch-up mechanics". My belief is if you are not willing to work for your goals. You will never really appreciate what you have earned. If you take the easy route.

Give it a rest. DoL eviscerated your argument by telling their experience of playing and gaining accomplishments in their time playing. You only had one leg to stand on and I think it just got chopped down.

I know I am not the fastest tr'r. But we are putting down one about every week. I am not sure why people think it takes so long. There is so much content. xp is oozing out at the seams.
