    Default U53 IQ test

Will they figure out to put seasons on these items or not? We'll see but the nerfing mobs diplo-trick won't help pass this test this time.

NOT-- it's a new adventure pack that's not part of the Feywild expansion, so it'll have new sets to it; just like Soul Splitter stuff relative to Sharn expansion.

Different circumstances. The seasons are built around the idea of being mix-and-match for a scaling bonus, not a binary get-or-not. Seasons can stand an expansion. Sharn can't.

hmmm perhaps but owing to the mix and match nature of Feywild sets... and the fact that the seasons could definitely have used more options/wiggle room from the start... well allowing these items to fit into the existing Feywild sets would simultaneously add value to these items and increase variety and value for Feywild.

I think its a good suggestion. Sets that lock in particular slots with zero options just force the player to either ignore new items in those slots or full-on tetris gear shuffle. On the other hand a set that requires say 3 pieces but has 5 options encourages players to look at new non-set items without necessarily forcing a full gear shuffle. For this reason Feywild seasons were a fantastic idea... they only lacked a few more options per each season. And here's a way to do that.... but my bets on yet another missed opportunity.

I predict they will fail that test badly, but would love to be proven wrong.

At a minimum 1 item of each season would help. I would love love love to see these items in the quest pack have an empty set bonus slot, then have spring, summer, fall, winter set crafting pieces drop in the raid as a rare drop so you could tailor these items with any season set you want. I was hoping to see something like this with the D&D raid with an augment that overrides the current season with the new, but maybe a tiny crafting system would be easier.

Yeah agreed...on the one hand, there are Season items for pretty much any build that are attractive, but in the wrong season from what that build would want to use. And most sets only have max 4-5 native pieces that fit any given playstyle. Being able to pay a cost to "advance" the season (ie Autumn->Winter->Spring->Summer) on out-of-season items would be a huge benefit to your ability to Tetris together especially the 6 and 7 piece sets. Though I'd want to see the item drop in the Leg Saga reward too and/or be tradable for Leg Ferrocrys. In the raid, I'd put an item that can be used to upgrade an item to its Feytwisted version, where one exists.

On the other hand, though, that sounds like its probably circumventing an intended tradeoff on set optimization...in other words, if they wanted us to be able to get a certain item in a certain set, they would have just put it in that set Plus that might end up meaning they need to create 4 versions of every single set item in Feywild, one in each season, and that might be a logistical barrier.

Limiting this season flexibility to loot only in this new pack/3 quests might be feasible though, and allow control over what items are available for addition to the individual seasons. Probably not enough time, just a wish.

Ofc it's not part of the FW expansion.

Just IMAGINE if they had figured out that an expansion should have 2 raids, and on top of that Dryad and Demigod release was MONTHS late so they should have added this one for free.

    But no, not SSG.

While more options for feywild season sets would be more than welcome.

For the OP, calling the staff of SSG dumb for not doing so is a sure way to alienate them and thus not getting a wish granted.

Lyn, if you do read this and it's not too late. We really do could use these items that are not part of a set yet to be part of the season sets.
The legendary stuff for sure. I can get that the heroic stuff is two levels apart would not entirely match up, still some set is better then no set at all.

They did not pass the test. Foreseeable.

This pack does not seem desirable to me, we'll see if I buy it.
