Looking for some help on a barb build

Taking advantage of the newest updates, looking for a pure barbarian build with the following criteria:
1. This is the toon's 5th life (2 fighter, 1 barb, 1 paladin). 36 point build.
2. Mostly soloing, so healing and survivability is important, but so is dps.
3.THF with greataxe.
4. Light armor to maximize dodge.
5. I have a tome of learning and +7 stat tomes.
6. I have all the premium enhancement trees.
7. All races are on the table.

I'm thinking that good old dwarf is still a good race for barb due to the axe benefits

Hi there! I love barbarian, and levelling as a barbarian is super easy. The suggestions I will make assume pure barbarian, as common Druid splits involve entirely different feat lines and enhancement splits, among other differences.

Races and Barbarian have a few nice interactions, two notable ones being Dwarf and Half-Orc (keep in mind with little Racial AP or AP spent in the racial tree these diferences come down to pure cosmetics). Dwarf is the tankier option, giving bonuses specifically to your GreatAxe, strikethrough, HP and CON, and possibly CON modifier to damage (16 points). Half-Orc is much more damage oriented, including the second best Action Boost for 40 MP and 2 STR (not as good as Haste Boost though), twice the bonuses as Dwarves to THF weapons, culminating in 20% helpless damage and an attack for auto-crit at T4. The choice depends on your preference, Racial AP, and desire for damage/survivability.



The first build I will make note of is a great levelling build.


Self-healing Barbarian for levelling:
T5 in Ravager for Blood Strength and Critical Rage.
Core 3 in Occult Slayer for HP, temp HP proc, and PRR/MRR from Parrying/Guarding Bond.
Rest in Frenzied for Blood Tribute and more damage. Take Cracking Attack when able for Fort bypass and +2W on weapon (can be up 100% of the time).


Endgame DPS Barbarian:
Core 6 and T5 in Frenzied for +2 Multi, STR from cores, and Storms Eye, Focus Wide, Focused Wrath, and Raging Blows. I use Tantrum as a defensive AoE cleave for possible trip if i get surrounded.

then EITHER:

31 Occult Slayer for HP and defenses, 8 Ravager for Action Boost, VKF if you can get Haste Boost.

11 VKF for Haste Boost and 5% doublestrike, 20 H-Orc for all the damage and Orcish Rage, 8 Occult Slayer for MRR/PRR
