Returning Warrior

Hey all,

I started DDO in I think Nov 2006, played for awhile maxxed out my warrior and pally at level 15 played for quite some time and left for WoW. Now I have dropped wow, kinda floating around so decided to go back into DDO to see what was what and I found my characters! Seems a lot has changed. Anyway the reason for my post is I want to see how my warrior currently stacks up and what if anything there is I can still do with him? He was more of a flavor character but really did well at least back in the day.

He is a dwarven 2 weapon fighter. Currently: Level 15. Base stats St 20, Dx 16, Cn 16, Int 8, Wi 10, Ch 6, Skills: 9 ranks of Balance. Feats: (not sure what order I took them just saw them on his character sheet) 2WF, Oversize 2WF, IMP 2WF, GR 2WF, WEAPON SPECIALIZATION SLASHING, GREATER WEAPON SPEC SLASH, GREATER WEAPON FOC SLASH, IMPR CRIT SLASH, WEAPON FOC SLASH, LOOKS LIKE i TOOK HEROIC DURABILITY, IMP HEROIC DURABILITY (X3?), TOUGHNESS (X3) not sure if those last 2 were inherent or what.

He also has a ton of the highest gear at the time Vorpals, +5 adamantite full plate, He obviously specializes in dwarven waraxes, has a ton of them vorpals, holy bursts, flaming bursts, etc, etc.. I think he is carrying like 20 on him plus in the bank etc. Anyway. Wasn't sure if there is a way to just respec him from the start.

Oh and also new is enhancements. I guess he has to select those as well. Got a lot to read up on I guess.

The game has completely changed since then and almost all of your gear is now useless. Your build is now useless. So much has changed you are better off just remaking everything..

So first suggestion: make sure you take advantage of the adventure pack giveaway by applying DDOQUESTS2021 to your account; as well as the 99-Point Sales on the first three expansions in the DDO Store. If you're looking to throw some money at DDO, take advantage of this week's DDO Market sales on Masterminds of Sharn and Fables of the Feywild, the fourth and fifth expansions, respectively. Heroic Sharn is level 15 so that's a good place to start farming new gear for your toon and getting back into the swing of things.

Second suggestion: there have been multiple freebies given away over the last 10+ years so check your character(s)' inventory for them. You should have at least one Heart of Wood for Lesser Reincarnations which you can use to fix your build. [Or continue as-is: there's some unnecessary feats on your current build but otherwise it's what I would expect for a typical TWF fighter.] You probably have at least one Raider's Box and possibly a Birthday Box.
