Weird Xp issues.

Wife and I are tracking a wierd bug (I think).

Our accounts are the EXACT same. All XP buffs enabled, VIP, Same Xp Pot etc. When we completed a quest together we get rewarded the exact same xp...but after every quest out XP bar's are not matching up. We just did a quest and I was 1k XP ahead of here...Next quest I am 10k behind. We are also exact same spot in monster manuals. We have quested together the entire time.

We noticed it about 5 quest ago. Will see how it turns out. Only thing is I am multiclass and shes pure. But that should not be a thing in DDO.

Anyone else notice this?

Do either of you ever die in quests? Either one of you dying and the other not in a quest would help account for varying xp gains.

I would also ask if you are taking daily XP gems. My static group had a similar query on why one guy was several thousand XP ahead and we tracked it down to a few good xp gems.

I ran into this same issue last life with a friend that usually do lives with. We ended up being 5-10k apart at the end of the life if I remember correctly. We couldn't figure out why. We thought it was monster manuals but we did everything the same. A few times he died and I didn't. It was strange. Curious to see what you two end up being at when you hit 20.

I have also had this happen on several occasions with different tr partners. I think I tracked it down to who has the star. There is some other factors like dying. But we where running no one was dying. He is vip I am not I was running a 10% pot and had the star. I ended up with more xp by large margins. At one point I was like 20k ahead.

Also check if one character has a tome of learning and the other doesn't. It wouldn't cause the switching of who is ahead, but could be adding confusion to the numbers.
