Unable to Run Multiple Clients

Hello everyone, I am trying to open up another client but, right before getting to character selection, it boots me with the error, "Connection failed: Can't bind local socket. Is another client running?". I've tried almost everything suggested. Yes, I have the "allow multiple instances" box checked in the launcher. Anyone have any ideas? Will I have to redownload the entire game?

Even if the multiple launch option is turned on, only one client can be launched from one launcher. Try launching multiple launchers and launching the client from each launcher.

In the launcher there's a drop-down menu, choose the "repair" tab, see if that helps.

When you open the second client, you're logging in with a different account than the first, correct?

I could be wrong, but if you swap the word "your" to "my" in his statement (as if from an auto-translation gone slightly awry), it makes perfect sense. (If you take a look at his other 6 posts, my supposition becomes more valid.)

I have 1 ddo download. Use 1 launcher icon and am able to launch as many ddo instances as i'd like. I have 6 accounts and have verified mine is still working the same. I just don't use the other accounts anymore but i did check before replying here. Good luck.

Tried it. Didn't work.
