I don't see anyone asking this and I can't believe I am the first one. Are you willing to part with your calculator and publish it somewhere?

This game can use all the good tools that can get.

    Cheers,
    Titus

Meh, can't spread more rep to you, your fault entirely.

-How does a repeater build outdamage inquis builds? Just because of the 4th shot granted by expanded clip? Thats enough to overcome the damage that inquis have from sneak attack and law dice?
    1. Compare how? Strange question really.

    2. WF Arti doesn’t use HW.

    3. Expanded Clip feat requires 13 Artificer.

    1. In terms of damage, how do they compare when leveling, especially in heroics?

    3. It requires artificer 12.

I still dont understand how repeaters outdamage inquis now. From what I can gather, its because of shiradic procs? From the posts im finding, repeaters + expanded clip only matches the ROF of inquis, so how do repeaters outdamage inquis using the same shiradi procs? Either the ROF is actually significantly faster or repeaters are procing shiradi more because inquis rolls for proc effects less or something.

Repeaters have 50 animations per minute, with 4 bolts per attack. Inquisitives have 75 animations per minute, with 2 bolts per attack. 200 attacks vs 150 attacks is how repeaters do more damage. Shiradi procs only apply to half the bolts for repeaters and Inquisitive due to the internal cooldown.

For heroic leveling, both repeaters and Inquisitive are fine. Inquisitive falls off considerably at end-game. Inquis at level 30 is about 30% lower damage compared to repeaters.

As for 12 vs 13 Artificer, you get an additional 5th level spell with the latter and you do more damage with the Rune Arm Blast. Compared to other limited choices, it's the most optimal.

Perhaps in the future. Releasing the code right now would drown me in support questions, and that's not a can of worms I want to open. I also need to spend 8-10 hours on documentation, and that is not a priority right now. Ultimately I would like to turn it into an add-on for Dungeon Helper, but that's a loooong term goal and requires a complete code rewrite. That won't happen until I support melee builds. The biggest hurdle to that is obtaining the animations/minute (and during Haste Boost) at various BAB for TWF, SWF and THF.

Yeah you used a test dummy or mobs think your feet stink lol
This is definitely a raid only concept using Consecration like that...just for bosses. With eleven people banging on a dude I guess it's easier to stand in a corner minding your own business going pew pew pew.... except everyone else except for two people are ranging too so whats plan B lol
It's not something you would do solo or with a buddy pretty sure.
Sounds like you are just looking for an argument when you clearly have no idea what you're talking about.

I played the Gnome build from this post with most of the gear recommended and upgraded stickerclick and it crushed r10s being top kills in most and r1-r8 raid bosses. 25 stacks happens almost instantly so laughing about that shows your ignorance. AF stacks paired with crusade on each pull makes taking down the main threat each time. One of the highest damage outputs I've seen in a long time. Carpone is a huge asset to this community and these builds give people like myself the opportunity to test them out and I can say I highly recommend Extended Clip Feat. and all the work done figuring out the best paths.

staying alive in high reaper is more on user error than building path. Also taking a good tank and healer is what you really should be talking about, not how this build isnt built like a tank.

Maybe this helps. Animation speed caps at 25 BaB. I think all THF is using fast animation speed since THF revamp.

Unlike how he presents though, there have always been multiple ways to twitch in DDO, so ignore that column as incomplete, and the knowledge and playstyle required to achieve various numbers are beyond most players.

Too much has changed with the game over 12 years to rely on Ua's data. I have various melee animation numbers from U45-ish, and I'm not confident those numbers are current enough.

I dont have current SWF numbers, but I don't think it has changed since U45.

What I'm currently using, confirmed on live with +/- 1 attack:

Attacks per minute, BAB 25, haste:
    TWF: 100
    THF: 110
    S&B: 104
    Qstaff with 15%: 116

Attacks per minute, BAB 25, hasteboostx2 (including cooldown time)
    TWF: 120
    THF: 128
    S&B: 128
    Qstaff with 15%: 134

EDIT: fixed typo on THF speed, is 110 not 112

    Comments on the 13/6/1 build:
-In your ranged power list you have Manticore 2pc as a +5 when Manticore is 10 RP for 4pc, the 2 pc is +2 damage.
-There are a couple of spots(Double shot, sneak to hit, Int action boost) you list a bonus from Legendary Dreadnaught when you list Shiradi, Shadowdancer, and Crusader as your destinies.
-Battle Engineer Enhanced weapons is +1 (wep bonus/seeker) for each Core, it's not clear if you take both because you also list a +24 rune arm spellpower bonus, which should be +32 if you had the 2nd core. You also list +2 dmg/hit but only +1 seeker
-Lionheart Ring is +9 insightful Armor Piercing, you list a +10
-HW: Dauntless Marking is -25%, not -20%
-Tinker set is 30% fort bypass, you list 25%
-The Elec Spellpower is off, Good luck aug & shiradi don't stack as both are luck bonuses
-I think the dmg bonus vs a marked + FE is more than straight FE bonus, it doubles up in some way

Below is my take on a repeater build (that I haven't tried). I did just finish a 14arti/6fighter build that was fun.
    Comparing to the 13/6/1 build:
    Mine is -8 Ranged power
Mine is +10-30 double shot (+0-20 from killer)
Equal non burst sneak dmg (No rogue active PL in my build)
Mine has 2 higher base to hit, even sneak/boosted (Or I think +1 with haste, unsure if armor of speed stacks)
    Mine has +1 seeker
Mine is +10 standing Fort bypass, -15 boosted (but missing boost is marked, which is party debuff)
Mine is +6 Int, +3 more during action boost
Mine has higher spell crit dmg (from Epic Spellpower: Force instead of a metal bypass)
    Mine has 200+ more spellpower
Mine has more FE bonus dmg vs my selected enemies, you get vs all marked
My base dmg is 6.75 less (you count +6 marked vs all) or 8.25 more vs my favored enemies
My build happens to have dmg boost (If/when fullisade runs out), which I understand is worse than Haste for DPS, but better than nothing XD
I'm missing competence crit bonuses, you get +1 mult. I do get sniper shot +2/+2 and aimed shot +0/+1 though.

I wonder how the small looking differences in RP, Doubleshot, and base dmg come out through your calculation. Missing +1 mult is probably a bigger difference.

Does your build have any heroic clicky attacks, and does your calculation take them into account?
    This build gets:
Sniper Shot, 6s CD, +4 hit, +2W +2/+2, very strong
Aimed Shot, 10s CD, +10 hit, +0/+1, which allows stacking focus while moving because it's +3x3 heroic, and +3x4 epic. Stacks don't clear all at once, you get enough to build them up if you shoot on CD
Merciful Shot, 15s CD, +3W +500, 100% rangedpower scaling on sneak attack @<50% hp. first hits can bring the hp low enough for later hits to proc the bonus
    Leg Shot, 10s CD, +2W 50% slow
Head Shot, 12s CD, +5W is a crit (if confirmed)

Thank you for the detailed response. I very much appreciate it, and I've updated the guide with the corrections.

    > Does your build have any heroic clicky attacks

Sneak of Shadows. It's included in the epic moment and full boost numbers.

Based on the various builds I've put through the blender, the multiplier is going to matter more than the RP/dmg/etc delta with the build you proposed. When I have the time, I'll rerun the numbers with the corrections and compare them with your 14/6 split.

Do you have any unarmed, wolf or bear numbers? Based on some older numbers, unarmed, wolf and bear had slightly higher per minute than TWF or THF. But I have no idea if that's before or after the 30->20% attack speed changes with wolf.

Is that S&B number with or without shield bashing?

Based on your numbers, during Haste Boost:
    TWF: 43
    THF: 45
    S&B: 45
    Qstaff: 47

I'm also interested in non-BAB 25 values anyone has. For example, Thief Acrobat (Rogue 20) is only BAB 20. I know there's a difference between 20 and 25 BAB but I just don't know how much of a delta it is.

How do Needle and Stickerclick compare, is there some +dmg bonus that would make Needle better with it's x3 multiplier(it also has a W of [1d12] vs [d10+3] Stickerclick)?

For builds that blast with the rune arm, any idea on the DPS diff between 5pc Technomage +20% charge rate vs weapon DPS filigree?

do these damage tests reflect real game data or just simulation data? from personal experience even with the new feat, repeaters just don't compare to inquisitive.
I haven't tested with a legendary elemental feat, I used aborea and I only had 7 filigree in the weapon, but the reaper did significantly less damage. just running around doing quests on r1 it was very noticeable.
does an elemental damage legendary feat and the extra three filigree seriously make up for the reduced doubleshot and lower base damage per shot from the the repeater's damage penalties?

The gnome builds requires racial points to work. The WF Arti20 build could work without a lot of PLs.

Needle is only 2.5W compared to Stickerclick's 5.5W. Stickerclick also has vulnerability. There's not comparison, Stickerclick leave's Needle in the dust.

As for the rune arm blast, I've tried both the Technomage set vs others. I prefer the other set up, because I don't think the +20% charge rate made up for what I lost.

Basing an opinion off 'feels' is not real game data. Math is math. I'm currently running inquisitive on my WF arti, and while it does decent damage, it is by no means doing more than my repeater build. You don't provide enough information to determine why that wouldn't be true for you.

Caveat: I have not built nor played this. It was created as a math exercise, so the feat order and prerequisites may require adjustment and may not be the most optimal choice when leveling up.

I am basing off easily observable experiences, not "feels" when running content solo it is very obvious when one setup you clear the quest easily and another setup you struggle.
this wasn't a one off thing, I ran repeater for a couple of hours to help a guild mate get gear and got fed up with it and switched back to inquisitive as it killed things faster. I don't need to run a timer or count shots per minute for this, as it was very obvious there was a significant difference in damage.
as I said, I had aboreal instead of one of the elemental damage feats, so it sounds like that is what would make the difference. I don't see how though just from how reapers work, but I will try it next life I do as inquisitive
