Divine EPL Block Energy 3x gives 21% absorb, not 30%

When actively blocking with Block Energy active, my + tab shows a 21% absorption increase, not 30%. Displayed numbers go from 30% to 51%. It's not maxing out my absorb, since the absorb numbers go higher still if I equip e.g. greensteel absorption items.

I'm curious if other people see this on their toons, and whether this is a display bug or an actual error in the amount of protection given.

Absorption has unique stacking rules. A simple example of how it works, if you have a 40% cold absorb item, and fire shield on, the first absorption applies fully but other sources don't. Fire shield 50% would leave 50% cold damage remaining, of which the 40% item applies to, half of 40 would be 20, so you reduce the remaining 50% by 20, and you would take 30% of the cold damage (70% absorption in character sheet).

That makes sense. A base of 30% would absorb 30 points of 100 pts damage, leaving 70 pts. 30% absorption of the remaining 70 = 21 points absorbed, or a total of 51%. Which is what I'm seeing on my character sheet.
