They can't. Not in this thread or the other one where this was discussed because it was never stated as exclusive and it has been covered in an actual YouTube video where the design philosophy against exclusivity is discussed. But it still won't convince some because it is now an urban myth. We can't dispel Forum DDO myths no matter how hard we try. Nothing more to say on the topic.

Math doesn't support your reasoning. Since under 100 people got the S1 bloody footprints why would we cater to them versus the many, many others who didn't and will try to do so in this season? Far more money is spent by those characters than the original 97 (or whatever) would have spent. But as you said, it's just as well, you don't need another bank toon so it worked out well for everyone.

Ok lets just extend this to other items people didn't get. When will I get some founders items? I wasn't here at that time and I want them, when can I expect them to be given out? A friend of mine wasn't here during the dice event, where is his dice and cards? So on and so forth. For those who were here for, struggled, and cared enough to put forth the effort to earn the items in season 1 this is sort of a slap in the face. And weather you or dredre want to accept it, they admitted in that clip that the items were supposed to be exclusive and the only defense against it is that they don't think that the items should be exclusive. But either way its a moot point now since they went ahead and put the items back out again. The whole point of my post is that this is a lazy season that the devs put no effort in to, there is nothing for anyone who has played season 1 and earned the items. It would have been a simple thing to change the colors or make a few more adjustments to make it worth the time of those people. This is lazy and we should expect more from them, not just accept it because we want something from them.

As to my point, you pretty much proved my point.
You played this season, and maybe spent some cash to get an advantage. I did NOT play this season because it is a lazy rehash of the same rewards, therefore I did NOT buy the 200 dollar point bundle like I always do for HC.

If they had altered the awards, I'm pretty sure you would have played, and I would have played, and bought the 200 dollar point bundle, which I did not for this lazy rehash season.

My point is good business. Your point seems to be just arguing for argument's sake, as are most of your posts in most threads.
