AFAIK, this is Lynnabel's first DDO dungeon/adventure and I think I'd rather see what they come up with on their own.
No suggestions from the peanut gallery needed.
If, by some miracle, I found myself making a quest for DDO, I would not spend even one second reading these forums for input or inspiration. I would be gleefully positioning bottomless pits, building near impossible jumping puzzles, placing wide area grease jets, and designing the Gatling Disintegration Gun for the Super Warforged Mecha Spider.
The Super Warforged Mecha Spider slew Ubertank with triple crushing stomp.
The Gatling Disintegration Gun vaporized MadSkillz with ultimitized disintegration beam.
The Gatling Disintegration Gun vaporized LeeboyJinkens with ultimitized disintegration beam.
The Gatling Disintegration Gun vaporized WinnerGuy with ultimitized disintegration beam.
The Gatling Disintegration Gun vaporized NumberOne with ultimitized disintegration beam.
The bottomless pit slew PerfectNinja with infinite falling damage.
Your party has wiped.
In death, you hear a pair of female voices giggling somewhere nearby.
We recommend you restart this dungeon on Casual Difficulty.
Have a nice day.![]()

Sophie Cat Burglar - Creator, Dreamer, Explorer - Happy yet Sad - Seeker of Beauty and Wonder
Exotic Item Recovery Specialist. I wish you all many happy adventures!
I'm betting it will be "Gorgon Ramsay's cooking show".
He has made jokes about making that quest years ago.
$GME YOLO
No circle long stairs.
No reincarnation bug.

while I consider this talk of pronouns an off topic derail, here is the link to the actual post instead of just the thread: LINK
I'm not a fan of his item design, but I'm definitely open to see what he can do with a quest. Look forward to it even. One thing is very clear with Lynnabel and it's that he loves this game. I definitely don't get that from anyone else at SSG.
I'm also with Arkat. He doesn't need my feedback to make a quest. Make it how you want to make it.

While I agree Lynn probably doesn’t need our help, posting quest ideas does seem pretty fun! From p&p D&D it always seems that the player’s conspiracy theories of what they think is happening or going to happen is usually far more devious or exciting than the original story or module.
I always like the idea of an adventure where you have two opposing parties on separate paths in a dungeon collecting keys to access a final room to snag some item or artifact before the other. First part is like a gauntlet of sorts, traps, puzzles, and of course some nasties along the way, then a central area where you fight or join forces with the other party to defeat the end boss. Of course backstabbing the other party always an option.
In DDO I imagine the anti-party (think end of slavers or PN) can have their progress seen or tracked through the quest, and if they reach the end first they get tiered buffs based on how long it takes you to get to them. If you beat them to the finish, it is an easier fight. This would be neat-o. People zerg anyway, might as well give a good reason to do so.
Of course anti-party drops cool loot.
