Can't get game to launch

I have been playing for 10+ years. Tried to log on 12/2/21 at 8:00pm, game updated then got to patch dat files 88% and game crashed. Keeps doing same thing. I restarted and same problem. I am able to launch the game on a different laptop but not this one. Please help.

Could try taking a copy of the updated client over to the other laptop. Just move the messed install folder and drop in the updated one.

Not sure if this is the same issue you have. I can open the Log On screen, it recognises me and my password. It takes me to the server choice page, but then when I try to open any server nothing happens. I have just reinstalled the game, just in case it was that.

I posted this in another thread because I was having a similar issue, hope this helps.

Delete all client_map files in your DDO folder (client_map_1 client_map_2 client_map_3 client_map_4), restart the launcher, and you should be able to load the game.

The game launcher loads for me, bypasses my login info. I have deleted and reinstalled the client map files and the launcher still crashes without taking me to login.
