Default Maybe Vault of night has been nerfed too much

Ah Vault of Night is back for epics!
I take an alt who is in upper epic levels and go for some quick xp from an EE vault run.
As it turns out .... very quick.

After helping do the left side in record time I ran east to help with the path to the rust monsters and barely got there in time to take a dd to the central area.
We were literally killing things without even breaking stride.
and then the end golem? Down in seconds. The dragon in plane of night went down lightning quick as well.

EE vault of night has become the the new casual vault of night.

If level 30 multi-completionist characters can't breeze through it on EE with little difficulty, I don't know how it could be completed by appropriate level characters with appropriate gear (Sharn 15/Borderlands 21/Eveningstar) and zero-to-few PLs.

You will find that all content is a breeze for an overleveled, overgeared party, and if that's a surprise to you, I don't know what game you've been playing since 2010.

Yeah, the Epic Plane of Night raid is only a level 22 raid, OP.

A bunch of geared out level 30s are just going to crush it.

What you should be asking, is for them to add a Legendary version of it.

This^, in so many words, is how you say time and feedback on Lamannia are wasted.

Oh it's not been dangerous for a long time. But time to complete has been slashed to a fraction of what it used to be. My level 28 paladin vanguard was no different. It went from stop and kill to lawnmower time. If we were playing heroic elite I don't think it would have completed must faster.

You should have crushed it. If not...

Maybe run it on R10 at level 27 to prove a challenge?

Epic Sword of Shadow? No longer the best 2 hander at level 30.

Alot of people are doing R10 LTS right now. Maybe you should try that instead.

I'd pay for Legendary VON and Desert.

Epic Gianthold was the second best "expansion" - maybe make that Legendary as well.

U51 nerfed the mobs across the game making you appear stronger.

U51 is a joke of epic proportions, only it's not funny nor amusing, it was/is a disaster for DDO.

Epic Vault of Night is a level 22 quest. So I would expect level 30s to crush it - that was the case before U51 as well.

They smoothed out the curve and level-gated EDs so the real question is whether it's too easy for a group of level 23-24s and if so -is it too easy as they increase skulls.

I don't think making sure EVON is challenging for a group of over-leveled characters (which seems likely if you are running on EE) is a problem SSG should have to deal with.
