    Default Fix: Web R10

Any chance the duration on Web on reaper difficulty could be reverted? I fail to see how a 2.5 second web on R10 is really useful... likewise I don't see how a normal 30 second duration is OP.

I thought every crowd control had a minimum of 6 seconds in reaper?

First, durations aren’t lowered below 6 seconds so it’s six seconds NOT 2.5.

Second, you are absolutely correct. Spells with set AOE durations are USELESS in reaper and this needs to be fixed.

    Example spells:
    -Web (sorc/wiz)
    -Evards Black Tentacles (Warlock)
    -Earthquake (Druid)

There are a lot more but the three I listed alone can be CRITICAL to their classes.

If devs are worried that casting these things will disturb reaper in a way mass hold doesn’t, then change the spells. For example: make it so the AOE that applies the CC remains at thirty seconds but the CC applied to each creature lasts 6 seconds per caster level.

There are endless possible solutions to this critical problem.

I also want to point out that these spells that are suffering can MAKE OR BREAK classes/builds.

Earthquake: Druids have NO OTHER CC.

Evard's Black Tentacles: Warlocks have mass hold but Evard's Black tentacles work on robots and undead while mass hold doesn't.

Web: It is the conjuration-based CC that synergizes well with Earth Savant Sorcerers and Archmage Wizards. It gives wizards/sorc's a CC option when everything is immune to charm, although since it uses a strength save, it still generally isn't that strong against enemy melees.

My druid doesn't even have Earthquake prepped.

    *sighs in exasperation*

The entire point was that Druid's don't get any CC that lasts longer than six seconds; you know, REAL CC. Not a cantrip to stop that crowned Ogre from smashing your face in, but a spell that takes that Ogre out of the fight long enough for you to kill its comrades and heal a bit.

Both Tsunami and Earthquake only last six seconds which is pitiful compared to the Mass Hold Bards and Wizzies throw around which can reach 20+ seconds in r10.

Helplessness-inducing CC really isn't a Druid's role, but they should get a mass non-helpless CC that lasts longer than six seconds because six seconds doesn't let you take control of a situation, it just slows the enemy down for a few seconds.

I get that Druids also get some damage and heals but the damage isn't all that great compared to Favoured Souls, same goes for healing too. Druids need some rebalancing.
