Why is 90% U51 discussion under General DDO Discussion?

This is one of the biggest changes in years, but almost all of the discussion of it is in the Free Discussion Forums.

Previous updates of much smaller scale got feedback topics opened by the devs themselves under "Focused Discussion & Feedback"
This update and we got players creating a bug list under "Free Discussion Forums"

There is an "Epic Destinies" topic area though its kind of hidden under
"Focused Discussion & Feedback / Classes / Epic Destinies"
Yet the last post there is from 11 days ago!
I'd have thought we'd have at least one feedback thread there for each destiny by now.

Well I'm going to try to start one.

There were three rounds of focused feedback on the Lamannia forums during the player previews if you wanted active, specific discussions. At this point there really much point to focused feedback after-the-fact...

Also take a look at the "last post date" in most of the other sub-forums. Usually they see about 1 new post a month. General is the only forum that's active daily. And its still not so active that anything gets buried before you get a chance to see it and reply if you want to

Wait till you learn that alot of the Devs discussion is done on Discord and not the official DDO boards.

Its seems like the most popular category.
Said that there is a trend going there that is creating new topics that is the same as others ones just written in different words. To me looks like an effort to keep the dread and negativity alive in the most visible and "trending" category in the forums.

Cause it's the only part of the forum where people still read / post?

because its the only one most everyone reads that and new player questions ... but than you have to go to main menu and search for something someplace to contain your comment.
maybe better to have forum open in a new comments to the forum page so it only lists new comments from all the forum from the last log in .

U51 is complicated, it's not all about epic destinies - feats are in play, balance issues are in play, bugs are in play, monster changes are in play.

I think general discussion is probably the best place to post for now.

Because that's not general DDO. It's a separate sub game with its own rule set. It literally doesn't apply to DDO in general
