Have you looked at the other characters monster manuals on your new server or just the one you transferred

Account deeds do say on one server. Mouse over the words account deed.

Thats not the issue. The issue is having them disabled for life, never being able to be earned back.

If you already earned them of course you wouldn't be able to do so again. Are you saying every character on the new server has a messed up MM?

These account wide unlocks are gone forever from my account. Every character on every server can never earn these rewards ever again as they are account unlocks. So there is no way for me to ever see human hp for instance. I would have to make a completely new account.

Right I mean that If I wanted to fix my MM I would have to make new characters on a new server. Not really a solution for me. Im not going to abandoned my 10 year old characters for a new MM. I transferred my characters over with completed MM entries which means the rewards were taken away from me but not the progress, so they are stuck in an incompletable state.

I just wanted to warn people about transferring their characters that is can break their MM, no point in arguing about it.

Since the rewards are per server of course they aren’t going to let you transfer someone that has them done and then get the rewards again.

Which is why when I transferred to a new server my MM should have been reset. Its weird that you think its normal and ok for my MM to be broken forever.

I see what you're saying, but I also see the way the Devs have it. A character makes benchmarks and gets rewards, those land on the current server - done. Nothing is "broken", it's just been used up, one and done. Sorry. :/

ok, but OP is talking about stuff like e.g. the perk of seeing mob hp gone, this can't be right. and progression halted! should a player have the transferred char broken, and create a new char on a new server and re-earn those perks since the transferred one is mm-broken? this does not sound right, c'mon.



server merges yeah, if even game features marketed as very cool (e.g. new mm early access by saltmarsh cash-buy) fail with transfer, let's hope they never merge the servers, our chars will explode. yeah being dramatic, just a silly way to point out the deep tech debt this game has, to be filled before doing anything else, there's just player frustration everywhere you look.

Yes but the OP didn’t unlock those on that server. Tried to bring a character from another server that already had them done. That’s not how it works because you would then get double the rewards. Once on the first server then again on any server you transfer to. It does state that they only work on a per server basis.


Transferring characters across worlds is a paid service costing 2,495 per character. (see full details here).

• The items in your inventory and (regular) bank are transferred with you.
• You lose the items in your reincarnation cache, forever.
• Account-wide bank stays on the original server.
• Accumulated favor travels with you; however, per-server benefits unlocked by favor do not transfer.
• If you want to return to your original world, you must wait at least 14 days.
• Your guild loses 10% of your accumulated renown - same as if you deleted the character DDO Forums.
• Monster Manual rewards (ability to see HP as well as any pets) stay on your original server.
• Your Astral Shard balance stays on your original server.
• A guild leader can not server transfer. They must hand guild leadership to someone else to enable transfers.
• A basic rule of thumb: Anything character specific with the exception of the reincarnation cache will move with you. Anything shared between characters, and this includes Companions and your Monster Manual Account Deeds in addition to the things listed above, remains behind.
