Spinner of Shadows bugged post- u51

To Whom it May Concern (my apologies if this is a known issue):

It seems that the Spinner of Shadows has some bugs post u51 and the first post-u51 patch.

Went in on Epic Elite directly from Servants of the Overlord and the Spinner was impossible to damage, even standing in the silver flame. She apparently isn't taking stacks of the debuff from the silver flame spirit.

So after 5 minutes or so of thinking it was just me, I recalled.

I went in the front door this time (directly from the Harbor) and this time not only could she not be damaged, but the spiders failed to spawn entirely.

So I am thinking maybe there's an issue on the back end that needs to be addressed.

It has been bugged on all 3 times I have done since u51. So this is confirmed.

There is a work around. Talk to silver flame and get the 15 darts and throw one at her to be able to damage.

That didn't work my buddy and I tried
She came bubbled up and impervious no other creatures inside after killing enough for 7 crystals
They just stopped spawning
Tried to D Door to renter the instance to check if the bug worked itself out and it hadn't
This was on Thelanis EE

Got the same issue.
Before u51, I was always getting the silver flame essences but never used them if not for "fun".
Did it yesterday on EE and got killed without dealing any damage to the Spinner. After recall and reenter, essences were not in the place I died so I had to talk again to the Silver Flame to get a new dozen of Silver Flame Essences. Tried to use them and I was able to damage the Spinner: when you damage the Spinner new spiders will spawn (as suggested by the Silver Flame speech...).
Don't know if it is a bug or if this is how it was intentionally thought to be done: fine with that, but it it should be written in the patch notes.

saw similar yesterday; our group recalled the first time then managed to beat her down quickly enough that it wasn't as problematic though some waiting was necessary for the silver flame to cough up essenses.

I really wish the quest change had been in the patch notes. The quest is complete-able but no where was this listed as being changed so the first couple times I went in there the other day I rightly assumed the devs had broken the quest as they have done on more than one occasion in the past. The annoying thing is why does the essence have to be a throwing weapon? Why not a dagger or just a buff to your current weapon like deadly weapons very annoying to use if you are in druid animal form. At least it can be used while raged.

I wasn't aware there were any intentional changes to SoS ... I assumed it was collateral damage from U51

My group just tried to run it (R4 if that matters) and the Spinner never spawned. We killed the first few spiders to get some crystals then nothing happened.

Thank you, I assumed it was my build. It's probably related to the torches in Inferno bug. Many so many bugs with this update to things I didn't think were related to anything being patched.
