Time to bail out of DDO soon. Any ideas on New World? Worth investing time and money for the next 10 years?

Yep, make sure you get a EVGA 3090 for it too...
In all honesty though, no idea. I've been looking towards something more like Baldur's Gate 3 though as something else to look into, but that's because that's more my taste having tried it. Your mileage may vary however.

And DO NOT stick a RTX 3090 into any rig running New World at this time. Amazon Devs managed to kill some GPUs, far more egregious than what SSG have been able to do thus far!Last edited by J1NG; 11-05-2021 at 05:33 PM.

It's bad. It's as bland as Elder Scrolls Online, but with less content as it's new. No story, no depth, and no originality.

It has lost half its players, seems to brick graphics cards, has little content, has a had a major duping episode, had a character invulnerability bug, people inserted HTML into chat to grief other player, among other problems - all in one month,
He left the name, at which the world grew pale.

I have read about grievers killing characters in the starter area with healing potions (kind of an overload) and then looting them.

personally, I dont like it very much at all. I want to say I expected more but than again I didn't really expect much of anything so that's not correct..
