In my city we send all the kids to the mall, then we unleash the zombies.

I am not handing out candy.

I live WAY out in the boonies and no kids for miles.

If there were kids where I live, I would hand out candy.
I even get some just in case ... then I can have it after Oct.

We hand out full-size candy bars.
    We got the good loot.

This year was the first time in 20 years we ran out of candy, and by 7PM. We had a lot too. It felt so good having people come to the door, even if only to ask for Treats

Over here, we're more careful. The kids don't normally do Halloween Trick or Treat by the doors anyway as it's not a normal thing around here, and it's not necessarily safe city wise where I'm at. But now we've also got to worry about passing stuff around that could impact on health in a devastating fashion, so it's been very quiet around here.

We only had five groups of Trickertreaters.
We stocked up and so there's this bowl of sugar but we don't even eat those candies. (We have a Crohny in the family so it's the snootch dark chocolate or honey based confections for us.)

A kobold would come in really handy right about now. "Here, to make up for the Waterworks..."

But what if you purchase candy every year with the intention of handing it out but no one shows up?!

I even by the big candy bars but in all honesty I started doing that because with so little trick or treaters I find I end up keeping all the candy and I prefer the big bars lol!
