    Default THF Dwarf Barb/fighter build

Hello, I am returning after not playing since 2010
I am looking for help with a build a Con based barbarian that utilizes "throw your weight" with these characteristics:
    1- Dwarf
    2- 1st life
    3- 32pts build
    4- No tomes (at first)
    5- Strength based
6- As much dps as possible
    Thanks in advance!

Throw Your Weight Around doesn't give you any + to Hit, only + to Damage.

If you insist on doing that, make sure you don't dump Strength.

If you don't dump Strength, you might as well not take TYWA.

Having a high To Hit # is VERY important in modern DDO.

You can but not a recommended build. TYWA is a expensive build that requires good acc gear and a good amount of racial points from Racial reicarnation. Remember you need at least 17 st for your playstyle feats and that can be an issue on a first life tomeless toon too.

While I agree with the earlier posts that this is a tough build for a 1st life toon, here is an idea to get you started.

14 Barb/6 Ftr, need 17 str for thf feats, go 20 con and move int, dex or wis out of negative numbers.
Feats are thf line, imp crit slash, power attack, cleaves. You may want to not have pa active till you get accuracy items.
8pts in FB for blood tribute
    18pts in Dwarf for TYWA
11pts in Kensai for haste boost and strike with no thought
34pts in Ravager for crit rage and blood strength.

Leveling order would 3barb first for BT , then 6 ftr, then rest barb. Level ups in con.
The main issues are the to hit values and with the necessary aps it is very power backloaded.
Named Gaxes are your friends, so farm carnifex and riftmaker. (Riftmaker will be 17-20x5)

Sorry that I didn't use the planner for a full build set up.
    Good luck

re TYWA: Confirmed, doable but not optimal. More of a "concept" build - you're sacrificing just to say you did it. So, yeah, better on a later life with some helpful past-lives behind it.

    That said, here's one: https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthrea...=1#post5999179

Without that, here's an oldie but goodie, but a pure Barb: https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthrea...=1#post5876628 & https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthrea...=1#post5968195

There have been a few small changes since it was posted, but none that break that build.

For something similar (pure Barb) but modern (and optimized for Hard Core = more survivability, less DPS = slower killing) https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthrea...=1#post6236501

If you are up for something more complex. here's a similar thread (tho' it requires Monk): https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthrea...=1#post5973764

(Even without Monk, just looking at that, you can see what you "need" from Barb, so you can just take that and go Barb/Fighter/X from there.)

I've also seen some Barb/Druid builds running around that are holy terrors (well, natural terrors - whatever), if you want to go that way. Something like: https://www.ddo.com/forums/showthrea...=1#post6241907 (maybe look at previous builds, take more Barb and less Fighter???)
