That tier 1 healing SLA in exalted angel having the max caster level of 5 seems like a pretty weak thing but it'll still be useful - and I'm not sure if it's been clarified yet whether the +1 CL & max CL we get per 2 epic levels to every spell will apply to destiny SLAs or not, in which case in practice it'd still go up to CL 10 at level 30 which while not super powerful, will still be a solid hit of healing once spellpower is taken into account.

I'm really not particularly bothered about the GMoF mantle not giving much to a monk beyond the speed boost - I'll just happily run in the fury of the wild mantle instead & get a bit of extra helpless damage & that nice dripfeed healing, or fatesinger for that extra sonic damage & temp HP proc, possibly sentinel if it's absorbtion stacks for 65% against a single element & 40% against the others, but honestly I'm really leaning towards going a little out of the box & have heart path primal avatar since I include positive spellpower in my gear setup, the spells & chance of proccing cocoon off healing ki which is a regular part of my rotation (it benefits from spellpower & crit chance so hopefully will count) should be a great team support.

Samius; yes, quarterstaffs are great in the appropriate builds especially with the addition of the swords to plowshares feat. Acrobat rogues & henshin monks are in a very good place at top levels with the staff of shadow (handily it's also inherently unbreakable) & the staff of the lord of blades being very solid damage dealers; for lower epic levels the stout oak quarterstaff from eveningstar villager turn-ins has always been a beast - durability can still be an issue with some of them while levelling but that's why I take magical training & go with illusionist's shadow imbue, now I can use elemental bloom from ToEE (powerful but laughably fragile) all the way from 7 to 20.
