Mabar Key Drop Rates

voodu did a small test recording 25 runs. in 25 runs he averaged 2.5 keys per run. My record run this year was 11 one run . on the flip side ive gotten 0 in a run too.

I was running 4 levels under - eg a level 7 running the quest at level 3.

I got consistently get about 30 key in maybe 40 minutes, running the whole quest and killing everything in the quest each time.

Switched to a level 15 running quest at level 11 with the same result.

In both cases just running fast and pretty much single-shotting each group with AoE spells.

As far as I can tell the drop rate is OK.

Is it me or raids dont drop keys?

I ran some normal quests on Hard just for science and see if the new way to get keys was worth it.. and I must say the drop rate of chocolate and keys in chests is freaking horrible. I had like 1 key and 5 chocolates after doing 3 quests.
Delera's quest is way better option for getting keys.

Just bought Saltmarsh and Feywild last week. I've been farming gear on those quests both heroic versions on my capped toon. While I was farming those gears I've got all keys I'll ever want. Wont be able to use it all. I do believe if you just keep playing normaly not only on this event but most every event( mimics, risia , etc..) you get all the tokens you need to trade for goodies or run event quests.

I've gotten keys in about every third Night Revels chest- Those quests are usually level 32(Epic Hard) being run with a level 24 character. I haven't seen any NR chests drop running at level with my throw-away character (I decided to play inqui while farming low level salt marsh and feywild gear. Still not a fan of ranged, hence throw-away.)
