As the title says, I've been away for a very long time, almost seven years in fact. I came back to the game two days ago, though only really did much of anything yesterday. I made a new character, and deliberately started at level 1 (somehow, I had the option to start at level 7). I'm looking for a guild (RP one preferred) that will help as I adventure along, but mostly just looking for friends to talk to, get build advice from, gear suggestions, and the occasional stomp through quests that are above my limit. I have to stay F2P for now due to financial reasons, I hope this isn't an issue for anyone.
My current character is Dania Ironhall, a Dwarf Paladin. Mail or message, I'll respond as soon as I get it.

Much has changed since 2014. I'm sure you'll find the new dungeons, classes, etc, interesting.
Redeem the free quests coupon in the DDO store, code 'DDOQUESTS2021', for most of the new content.
Forget Korthos, go to the Borderlands for good starter equipment and mount.
Then buy the Ravenloft expansion (absolutely the best material DDO has released), when you have earned 99 DDO through questing.
