How about, if you have an expert way to fix your mistake, simply share that fix instead of a lame excuse! I hate coming back to this game and having to spend hours reading Reddit posts to get the game working. PATHETIC!!

This is pathetic. I'm currently reinstalling totally. (Have taken another break but son wanted to play again today) had to search Reddit to find this thread and some are saying that still isn't a fix? Why is that not on the launcher? Or I don't know emailed to your paying customers? Come on Cordovan this is awful.

EDIT***This fix did work for me but I should never have had to go to Reddit to get the answer.

Here's the ACTUAL fix for those of us that followed all the steps in this thread but still had a launcher error. This also was found on reddit, couldn't find it anywhere else.

Delete all client_map files in your DDO folder (client_map_1 client_map_2 client_map_3 client_map_4), restart the launcher, and you should get back in.

I ran the launcher with the "-disablepatch" flag (see: https://ddowiki.com/page/Launcher), so I could then go into the Options->Repair menu, and let it redownload everything again.

Was able to log in as normal after that!
    Doing this now, thanks!
