Returning Noob Looking for no-meta no-zerg guild

I mostly solo and my favorite part of this game is dungeoncrawling with intent- taking it slow, playing like an old dungeoncrawl where you let the scout look for traps instead of just relying on meta knowledge and minmax builds. I used to play permadeath (and would return to it if there's an active guild- I was with Mortal Voyage ages ago.), RP would be fine too! Mostly, I just want to experience the content instead of just rushing to endgame. (I've never even been past 12 lol) It'd be nice to not HAVE to play solo all the time to get the experience I want.

Currently on Argo, but starting fresh on any server is acceptable.

I would also like to join a low level group or guild like this. I've come back on and off to DDO but the only time I had fun playing it was from initial launch til about when they raised the level 10 cap. I had friends and stuff from DDO but I scooted off to do other things.

When I played a few times, it gets a bit annoying to solo after the Harbor is completed. I am willing to get a sub but I dont want to get one unless I find people to group with that are actually fun. I have all the content from the recent code thing back in January, so I dont need to unlock much.

The Hunter and Hunted module also unlocks a lot more things and makes the game more interesting, but the zerg groups of people who have gone through 189,571 reincarnations doing things on reaper level whatever with mounts and superspeed isn't fun at all. The LFG is abberant these days, and I don't really like joining guilds full of people I have had no interaction with.

I mean, its Dungeons and Dragons. I played this stuff back in the 80s. MMO players are vastly different in mindset than role playing game players. Even the beamdog reboot of NWN is more of a MMO audience. And that was a beautiful roleplay experience most of the time when it was initally around, up until 1.69...

I'm planning on trying again, for something to do while I am thinking of content to put up on TikTok so if there are people playing here for whom this resonates, let me know. I have a character on one server thats a high level iconic wizard deep gnome but I just want to play a game to enjoy myself, not build resources. I'll join a Discord but I need new headphones at the moment due to years of not playing any kind of teaming MMO. It was teamspeak last time I did this sort of thing.

Anyway, hopefully I run into people with the new content. New World was vapidly dumb as a random aside.
