There was a Cosmetic Orb planned that looked like a Jack-o-Lantern that had to be cut for scheduling reasons. We're hoping to bring it back in the future!


Long story short:

• The existing copies were set to expire like most other Night Revels items this year.
• The effects of the existing candies had a problematic effect on overall game balance.
  
  • Rather than nerf them, we let them stick around until they were set to expire (a full year longer than we'd originally intended).
  
  
• Due to U51's Epic Destiny work, we did not have time to do the careful work of designing and implementing new effects for the Candies that retain the cool factor of the existing ones without disrupting game balance in the same way the existing ones did.
• As a result, we decided to retire the candies for this year, and hope to bring them back with new effects next year.

Why not give - for example - the regular fog spells the colours from the Night Revels Candies ? That way we could at least have the same visual effect ...

I know several people who spend a disgusting amount of shards trying to get that mount. This deserved better visibility other than a stealth add to the release notes and a dev comment buried in a thread...

Kinda necro, but I just thought of it (haven't really been on my ranger much the past few weeks).

Void, the Endless Cold is now dealing Cold damage again.

Does this mean that it now bypasses DR like many of the Dryad & Demigod weapons? Or does the fact that it's "Cold, Magic" instead of just "Cold" mean that nope, that's not the case?
