Overall some nice design here, sad to see this heroic ability filler garbage in an ED "Enduring: +2/4/6 Physical Resistance Rating." Double it so it is epic and not a copy paste from heroic enhancements imo.

    -----Initial Thoughts ----

    Adrenaline/Quick Cutter
Am I wrong in thinking that Adrenaline will completely out perform Quick Cutter. Also as Quick Cutter is an epic strike ability then why doesn't it get enhanced later in the tree like Adrenaline does?

I'm always Angry / Eternal Rage
By the time a Barbarian, bear, or shifter reaches level 20 they've pretty much got their rages set so they can use them near constantly. If not then the character probably doesn't use rage and doesn't have abilties that work with it. So who is the consumer of this?

What is considered to be the base values for this feature?

I HATE having a linear cc effect in a melee tree. Melee effects do not operate in straight lines, and the mismatch makes this much less useful than a burst or arc. This is not a clever unique feature to me, its making the trees main crowd control not work with the basic operations of the users of the tree. I also do not like the absence of helpless crowd control in a tree that has a major component of damage to helpless.

Doesn't seem to be working, on my shifter barb (18 str, 18 con, 10 dex) it granted 5 Str, 5 Con and 6 dex (instead of 9-9-5), am I misunderstanding what half of their base values means? Is it a stacking issue?

Unquenchable Rage gives you a heal when you enter a rage so extra rages are not lost, you can dismiss and rage for a free heal.

Not working here either, it only added 5 str, 89 to 93 on my barb. Pretty sad epic moment even if it works as expected, pitiful as is.

    Default Playtesting a bit

The Great leveler is ok when Adrenalined. Seems to knock down several creatures in front of me. Without Adrenaline it was only hitting one or two mobs in the First hallway in Grim and Barret (target rich environment).

DPS is way down due to lack of helpless creation (Dire Charge twist), and Haste Boost (Twist). I've not been through all the trees, but don't see anywhere to pick up haste boost.

Incoming damage was way up (no meld for critical fights) but a bit more HP and some passive healing partially offset that.

The 3 tree system is way less flexible than the twist system. I realize that earning your twists slots was painful, but that was a few weeks of work to set up a toon so was a painful but pretty short grind. The lack of comparable features low in trees means that this system is much less flexible for my builds.

Haste Boost is gone, but you can get 10% haste boost from every action boost in Tier 4 LD (for 10 seconds like Prowess), you'll have to splash a class that has it in heroic trees to get full haste boost.

I figured, just wanted to point out that I hadn't searched for it. so could be missing it.

And LD stinks for a barbarian(at a quick read stinks in general), so not an option to go that deep into the tree.

Dismissing rage and re-engaging rage in the middle of a fight seems a bit wonky.
Since primal scream has a cooldown of 30 seconds that seems much simpler.

30 seconds on a very narrow cc cooldown and making the epic moment an utter waste of time, but 10% hp for a few classes is nice...

lower/widen cc cooldown (20 seconds/cone) or give us back some version of actual unbridled to make this actually work

    Default The FoTW Experience

So, after playing a few quests on Lamania i´ve got some idea on how this tree is supposed to work. All quests were played on LR4.

    1. Not a fan of Fast&Furious. while in theory its great for adrenaline damage, its really wonky to hit just like dire charge on live server How about a multiselector for a cleave attack? I for one would love that.
    2. Epic Moment did not work - i suppose thats a bug, but it basicly only gave 4 STR on my 90+ Str
    3. On topic of stuff that does not work - the healing is a little lackluster in reaper (obviously). While its really strong outside reaper, making it not reduced in reaper prolly wouold be too strong so not sure how that plays out in the end.
    4. FoTW is THE HELPLESSNESS DAMAGE Tree. Well, except there is no built in way to make anything helpless at all. I´d love if the knockdown on adrenaline and the great leveler would make targets helpless, else its kinda useless getting all this extra damage that never applies if you are solo/ your party wont make helpless.

Other than that, i for one had little to no issue playing on R4 mostly solo/ testing with a friend in US. Its a cool tree, but it could be cooler with some adjustments

Take away the charge from Fast and Furious. If you want to put in a charge attack in addition that's cool, but the big smash shouldn't be a charge because charges are wonky in this game. Also agreed with the above, Fury needs some CC that imposes helpless.

Unbridled Fury isn't Fury nor Unbridled. This thing needs to shake the world when its clicked.

Basically Epic Moments need to be a reason for us to play this game.

Fair disclosure: I'm looking at this through the lens of my dex based tempest ranger TWF.

Currently, I love running in shadowdancer because of its synergies with dex and good melee output. I get the intention to distance from ability stats. I feel this destiny falls short for my niche build. I don't think the offhand bonuses amount to much on my build (I think I'm at 80% already). Anything of positive healing I cringe because outside of raids I play mostly reaper where the healing is quite muted.

I just don't feel good about TWF being lumped into a general melee/THF/Barb/etc destiny.

so the adrenaline knockdown is for four seconds not 10 at 225% damage boost option? Am I reading this correctly? And are they still considered helpless?

The knockdown and 10 seconds of helplessness made this my favorite tree
